Honestly, don’t know if he did or didn’t, but the sneakiness of the wee punch from Neymar didn’t seem like an off the cuff response to a racist remark. It was him trying to hide it and opportunistic.

 

He’s a cheating * and I’ve no doubt he’s also a lying *. Plenty tv cameras about and lip reading specialists, there would be evidence by now.

 

That’s what I guessed too. Neymar strikes me as the type that would accuse someone of racist language when they try to wind him up with non-racist remarks, although that’s pure speculation.

Even if you’re a racist, using racist language is a potential career-ender for a player, as well as being obviously abhorrent. If you want to wind him up, why would you not just slag him for * his sister?

Hopefully the truth comes out.

 

Racists as well as being the vilest must also be the thickest * in the world now to think they can continually call one of the most famous footballers in the world racist names when we have all the technology in the world to lip read and a gazillion cameras at every match.

A player who continually dives and cheats, would you take his word that he was racially abused to get himself off with punching someone ? I don't think you can take him at his word, he has discredited himself over the years.

My point exactly. If there is evidence it will be found, if not he should be called out big time.

 

The guy is on another level and on his day he is as good as anyone. And I mean anyone. However, his diving, histrionics, unsportsmanship, immaturity and temperament mar his brilliant talent. And, although not related to football, anyone who has a tattoo of their own sister needs to put the cuckoo back in the clock.

 

That is been generous I think. Hopefully the truth comes out on the racism angles soon. I will say this though I watched the game and Neymar was as usual play acting, trying to get other players booked and generally being an all round * mixed in with his brilliance as a player. I also watched the PSG game yesterday and the commentators were saying if the allegations prove false by Neymar he could be in for a hefty extra suspension. We will just have to reserve judgement and wait and see what happens with the investigation into the racism allegations.

 

Some people in Brazil dug into the social media accounts of the spanish marseille CB and found tweets supporting that spanish far right party that likes Franco. I hate Neymar too but I think he is being honest here

 

I know he’s clearly one of the best on the planet but in any big game I’ve sat down to watch with him playing, I’ve kept a close eye on him to see what all the hype is about and every single time he comes up short. Not in the top 5 players in the world for me, easily.

More refs seeing that will hopefully follow suit
