Id be happy with Mowbray or Coyle , and if not any of them I really think Keano could do a job for us thats only my opinion , Id also like to say that I wish WGS all the best at whatever club he takes over I think he done a brilliant job for us despite a lot of people wanting him out his record says it all , HE DONE IT HIS WAY.

Yes, but id choose bilic first. I just dont think that theres any realistically good available managers in the UK these days and we need to go abroad to find someone. Someone like Bilic, who will be knowledgeable about eastern european football and be able to get us some steals and bargains. Also, both Grant and Bilic are proven managers. Mcghee was 7th in the league with a side that should be aiming for 3rd spot while Mowbray was this years premiership laughing stock.

Unfortunately, these bookies are almost always right.

i think grant would be tempted by celtic.and showed at chelsea that he can manage at the highest level and continue to do a job as manager with problems above, which will come along with the parkhead hotseat.

    New Celtic Manager?

Any thoughts on Kevin Keegan? I always liked the attacking style that he plays. He has Glasgow connections. And, more importantly, when Keegan calls, players listen.

Trappatoni would be a good shout too I reckon. Or what about the ex Inter Milan manager? Bet he could get Donati to play!

With regards to Owen Coyle and Tony M, who are they going to bring in? O'Neil brought players from the Premiership, where he worked. Strachan brought in the likes of Naylor from the Championship. Do we really want that again from Coyle or a manager who just got relegated? Dont we deserve better, such as a big name player? Can you imagine the calibre of players we would coming to Celtic with someone like Rikyard (spelling), Gullit or Klinsman were manager. One of the top clubs in the world deserve one of the top managers.

It is alright for Desmond to take $5m out every year in preference shares and Lawell to get his money up to 800K for not balancing the books, but isn't it time they let our club pay for a top manager who can attract top players again? Their biscuit tin mentality has caused us $10m in the Champs League which has now gone to Rangers - we would have been 20m ahead of the Huns and would have dominated for years. Dont we deserve better?

Other thoughts - Bilic: wants to work for either of the Old Firm - that isnt good enough. You want Celtic or you dont. And we dont need a manager who doubles as a rock star back home. No club experience.

I'm not liking how far Levein has come down.

The bookies are as clueless as we are.

Bilic has dropped big time from when betting started and even from when Vata came out with that statement.
