New NBA season

Yeah they offered him a new $64million dollar 3 year deal but he knocked it back...but at least he is being honest that he wants to leave so they can make a trade and get something in return for him.

 

Gonna follow this season alot more than last. Always had a soft spot for the Suns but follow the Celtics aswell.

 

Another comfortable win for Boston over Detroit 109-86...Garnett & Pierce lead the way with 22 & 21...all starters and Glen Davis score in double figures again except for Rajon Rondo who has 9 points but he adds another 17 assists and 4 steals...off the bench Marquis Daniels also scores 9 and Semih Erden and Luke Harangody see their first action of the season.

The player in my old avatar was Reggie Lewis who was a Celtics player in the late 80s early 90s and the teams captain when Larry Bird retired, he was an All-Star but died at the age of 27 from a heart attack...my new avatar is Luke Harangody who was Bostons 2nd round draft pick this year from Notre Dame and he made his debut last night.

 

a home game tonite against the bucks and i think it should be another good win at the garden, its live on espn here so i will tune in . i watched miami last nite win very very easily and this team seems to be clicking together very quickly after their opening defeat and like i said in earlier post the celtics are here next week end and that will be a belter imo.

 

i dont really rate this guy although notre dame are my college team thro the fightin irishmen nickname but let see what he does once given a chance

 

I think nobody really rated him coming out of college even though he was great at Notre Dame, everyone said he was undersized and not athletic enough to play in the NBA but his play in the summer league and pre-season has justified his place on the roster...Danny Ainge has a habit of picking up these players in the 2nd round of the draft that nodody rates, players like Glen Davis, Leon Powe and the one I think Harangody is most like, Ryan Gomes.

 

when i first saw it i thought that is * bias on your avatar... because they look alike.. but then i remembered that he didn't take any pictures with celtic shirt, only with cap i think..
i know that the newest one i haragodny.. i watched him a bit in a summer league, he is quality second round pick..

 

wow tough game tonite but celtics came good in overtime and well done to both pierce and rondo for scoring 20,000 point and most assists in first 5 games .

 

Offense just never clicked for the majority of the game and the bench apart from the large infant were poor, but we came through at the end when it mattered which you have to be happy about.

 

next up on friday is the bulls and this should be another real good test for celtics at home, this is live on espn so i will be tuning in to watch the game and expecting another celtics win

 

Rondo against Rose is becoming one of the best match-ups in the NBA but I think we will have to play a * of a lot better than we did against the Bucks to win this one.

 

watched the bulls last nite vs portland and they looked dead and buried but staged a remarkable comeback and beat them in overtime with rose turning in a good performance after a slow start

 

another good overtime with for the celtics altho they kinda struggled after dominating early and leading by 16pts at one time, anyway we will take the win and look forward to the next game.

 

miami heat will do damage this season
