Could be right I think he has a clear attacking playing style though. I honestly haven’t seen any sort of style from rodgers, maybe sideward n backwards slow passing hoping something happens. Think most managers with a clear attacking style would upgrade what we have right now

This clown will not win us the league. Sack him and fling money at a good coach that’s out of work at present until the end of the season. Way things are we are losing the league so no big reflection on them if they don’t turn it around. We failed to go all in in the last transfer windows, it’s time for a Hail Mary, at least try something ffs.

His biggest issue at Chelsea was dealing with press. He couldn't cope with pressure and scrutiny. He'd never cope here

Every manager does well at Brighton, the absolute epitome of a superbly run club.
Almost every player improves and leaves hugely more valuable than they entered too.

Strangely, that's why I wouldn't take Potter as he's not done well at a badly run club like ours (ie Chelsea)

Badly run in a very similar but also the most extreme opposite way that we are, spend too much money frivolously with little plan.

We spend too little, but somehow still frivolously, with little plan.

Michael Carrick in this poll was a * cracking shout btw. Think he’s shaping up to be excellent, lot of bigger teams keeping an eye on him now

I actually find it interesting that so few voted for Rodgers but for Desmond he was a stand out candidate. That tells you that clearly the majority of fans are more in touch with football than the majority shareholder of the club.

The 2 votes for Scott Brown must be him creating accounts on here :giggle1:

The majority winner in Knutsen made it clear he was going nowhere. Didn’t even acknowledge Ajax’s attempt in the summer. The likes of Potter probably out of reach as well.

I read he was in negotiations with Ajax but they couldn’t agree on terms, so he was open to leaving Bodo but obviously priced himself out it.

I realised when I read a quote that was insightful and quality, then heard the interview where he said it. It’s the accent.

Americans talking football, it’s ridiculous but it just sounds wrong, and cheesy. Then Ted Lasso happened, probably didn’t help the guy.

If he's bringing Hannah Waddingham and Juno Temple with him then he gets my vote! :50:

You know funnily enough I said that exact same thing yesterday that Ted Lasso is probably a reason he can't get a job now

He was on Sky tonight, Americans talking about winning duels and ‘plays’ will never sound right in a football context.

When he was using phrases in interviews that were really not American, it also sounded really not right.

Genuinely when you read a quote, rather than hear it said, it seems so much less ridiculous and actually good.

Ridiculous prejudice that, but it’s a thing
