Aye, he's had TWO transfer windows!...is that how long it's supposed to take for a manager to build his own team before being judged?

Thank * you're not the top dog at Celtic Park, we'd have a merry-go-round for years to come of managers coming and going.

I'm as sickened as the next guy with how inconsistant we've been this season but by sacking the manager, we'll have to bring in someone else, no doubt paying compensation money and then he will want time to build his team with funds that probably won't even be there thus making his job twice as hard as Mowbray's...and then what? If he doesn't get off to a 10 point lead by xmas, he's out and we go through it all again?...

Sick and tired of supporters thinking that because we're Celtic, no other team in the SPL should be able to touch us, no other team in the SPL should be near us.

Some supporters need to be reminded of the FAR darker times in the past to maybe get a bit of a balanced opinion.

Out of curiosity, all of the Mowbray haters...if, and I know it is a big if, we win the league come May. Will you be celebrating with the rest of us?

in my humble opinion i think mowbray in signing some players forgot
that some (sorry most) pitches in winter are not suited to the image
he has in his head of how we should play.
a lot of foreigners probably never play football on surfaces like today,
naka rarely had a great away game in the winter.
when pitches are more playable our football will be superior rather than
a lottery with the hammer throwers of the spl,but by then im afraid it
    may be too late

Are you aware of how unlucky West Brom were or the football they played ? I enjoyed watching them in their season in the prem.

And do you know how hard it is to survive in the prem when you come up ? and how hard it is to attract players to teams like wba ???

No of course he is not aware. He's clueless. Just look at his name doctor venglos. A guy who comes on here and constantly slaughters our manager and has chosen thee most clueless manager we'v had in decades.

I strongly call for this thread to be closed.

I was raised to support Celtic, win, lose or draw and right now the team and management staff need all the support they can get.

Not looking so clever getting sweetie money in by punting Caldwell, Fox, Mick etc now instead of in the summer. I think most of my fellow tims have not a clue sometimes. Caldwell had the odd gaff but he is a very decent CB, the best Scottish one and he is doing well in the EPL. Fans just turned on him because of the contract issue and some poxy TV interview but he was offered double what Celtic were offering and probably triple what he is on now to go. There is no way that Caldwell and even Mick would have been that bad as we saw today. These guys have done it in the CL and for their country. Being reduced to playing O'Dea and Thompson was a direct result of shortermism and the crazy revolving door. All those good attackers and those clowns at the back (although I think some day Thompson will be a fine player). Terrible terrible management of a transfer window by Mogga and Lawell (I am not sure who is most to blame).

Aye, his stunning finish against Wigan in the FA Cup for Notts Co....oh *, hawd on a minute...

His gaffs are very much alive and well down south as they were up here. Was glad to see the back of him, if only for getting money in. There's no way you can say that Caldwell would have prevented the scoreline today. Do bare in mind, he was in the side that was left trailing Rangers before he left.

    Sticking With Mowbray!

Keep Mowbray- our defence today will NOT be the defence of the future!
It is still our weakest area and Mowbray's new defence recruits and his preffered defenders have still to play a game together!

mate,we were being outfought for most of that game today at no point were we comfortable even 4-2 up you just knew it wasn't over and how many more "variables" do we have to put up with, yes we looked good for short spells but that was also the case under gs but couldn't see games out or put away chances at important points of a game and had some shocking lapses in defence(sound familiar)and ultimately when all this is combined in the same squad its down to nothing else but bad management.i'd like to see him rsign now to mabe salvage any respect i had for him as a man,if not he has to be sacked this week.my solution would be to get lennon to take over for the rest of the season but only that to maybe salvage 2nd ,remember we're all looking for hibs to do us a favour tomorrow but if they do then they are pulling closer to us with a game in hand(rock hard place).the next round of the cup is coming and these players need a rocket up their arses if they are to win at kilmarnock.use the rest of the season to identify the new man and start any contract talks then he can identify the players he wants and start drawing up his plans for next season.we can't keep saying "it will come good" the fact this season has been an absolute wash out is criminal, with the huns being in the situation they are in.when we were in a similar situation they dominated all out and we should have been doing the same because they won't be in this situation for much longer money will come from somewhere it always does.so to be lagging so far behind when they are on their knees and substantial money has been put out on our team is purely the fault of the man in charge of football matters at the club.

i don't think anybody is going to stop supporting celtic, otherwise why would they be here?

i support celtic. i don't support tony mowbray personally. if tony mowbray is not doing what's best for celtic that he can get tae fuc. nothing personal. there's a difference between venting and calling for a manager to be sacked and stopping the support of your club.

what ever happened to freedom of speech,we pay our money we're entitled to say what we please and if thats to project unhappiness at the way the TEAM is being run then so be it.blind loyalty to an inadequate manager will only prolong the agony.

you're ok with being 11 points behind the huns? or are you taking the *?

i think 11 points behind this huns team is not best for celtic and i'm sure millions of supporters would agree.

If the referee had done his job today and booked Aberdeen players for their two footed lunges and continuous swipes at our pacey players then I doubt they would have had the momentum they did to drive on and get that 4th. Brines let them away with murder and they knew it.

That's not a solution mate, that's wild speculation. Who's to say we wouldn't be worse off with Lennon at the helm?

So you want the board to undermine the manager, who they have allowed to spend millions, by trying to allocate a new manager, mid season and expecting said potential manager to then focus on who he might be able to bring to Celtic and not on whatever current team he may be employed by?

I'm sorry mate, but that is one of the most ridiculous and downright stupid statements I have ever heard.

...and when it does, it'll be going straight to the bank. They're on the brink of administration, remember.
