I think Keane would be good but I dont think we would get him now. I do think that we will have a manager in place by the end of the week maybe even tomorrow

i would reallllyyyy love david moyes, even though he wont leave because of where he is at the minute, but hes a fantastic manager, one of the best in the business IMO.

Also Martin Jol is a world class manager, luring him to the club would be a great bonus!

I think the likes of McGhee would be a step backwards for us, I hope it's someone with good top level experience but I doubt it will be.

A lot of people are celebrating that Strachan has gone, but I'd rather wait to see who we get in to replace him.

I believe it was time for GS to go but on the condition that we got a good replacement in.

I'm not too sure about any of the likely candidates to date.

Could people please stop asking for McGhee, or tell me exactly how this guy deserves the job considering he has sod all experience at any level above the SPL, where his record is mediocre. Levein and Coyle, yea they're okay but there're not taking anyone anywhere. If we take on a guy of this mantle it shows a complete lack of ambition or sense.

Moyes would obviously be brilliant but he's not turning his back on Everton now. He's ground out a really good team after years of hard work. They now look capable of a real push, so its a no to us.

Billic is the man for me, but I think that might be a bit of a fantasy. i really don't know his position, but he's been with Croatia for a while. We can but hope. Then again, I'm sure he was linked to a few massive jobs down south and turned them down so I'm pessimistic again. He would be good though. Great motivator, experience at the top level and a good knowledge of the eastern euro market when bargains are to be had. Would add a ripple of excitement back to CP. If there were any chance to get this deal done, we should do it.

If its an unimaginative appointment we should riot...or * and moan, but its not fair on us if they don't get someone decent in.
