What ever happened to the bespoke shirts the huna thought they would be getting? Turns out they just churn out template nonsense as much as the rest of them. Just with absolute * quality and poor execution.

I think the FAI have scored a massive own goal with this arrangement.

The reaction to the partnership with Castore was lukewarm at best, with many waiting for the release to make their minds up.

Reaction to the release has been hugely negative, and could cost the FAI a lot of money. They look cheap, are the same template as a Sevco 4th jersey, and they're retailing at €80. That's a recipe for disaster.

 

It's a wonder how much money they are offering clubs/countries to be the kit manufacturers.

I frequent the "kit community" on twitter quite often and the reception that Castore get across the board is hillarious. We see it from a laughing at huns perspective - but the rest of football twitter find them equally appalling for a kit company.
Badges missing, logos and badges upside down/squint, very poor material quality, ripping in games, falling apart after 2 washes, over priced, repetitive and boring merchandise overall, training wear * poor.

Thats literally how folk (completely detached from the huns) view them.

You have to wonder, such a * poor company, how are they getting Sevilla, Leverkusen, Villa etc??

Can see them not lasting too long, most surely will let their original contracts with Castore run its course, then move on. Imagine Under Armour, but * poor and none existent after a few years.

 

Castore is the creation of two brothers who used to play sports, then got jobs in finance to fund their dreams of establishing a sports brand.

They even made the Forbes list.

In a nutshell, they've got money, and unfortunately, the FAI go weak at the knees when the cash is flashed. Nothing other than the biggest payday is given the slightest bit of consideration. Castore made the biggest bid, and here we are.

Nah it’s a joke that they are getting away with that but unfortunately everything has went up can remember back when younger you’d almost get a full kit for 80 Quid ffs.
