    * knows, at first I thought it was just for the photo as the article only said the shorts colour match the shirts with no mention of the style.

    The four away shirts are a nod to the old four districts of Florence and the crazy shorts are commemorative of an old style 'football' called Calvin Storico that was played in the city centuries ago. Basically anything goes football/rugby with a bit of mma thrown in. They won't wear those shorts during the game but plenty locals will snap them up.

    I get its almost purely based on merchandising and profit, but why the * must teams change 2-3 jerseys every year?

    Unless you plan on drastically rebranding, why not keep a steady kit for 4-5 seasons?

    Personally wouldn't even mind seeing a kit worn for 2 seasons. Or at least make a 3rd kit from the previous away. Make things worthwhile.
    Plus its 55 quid + a top at least these days.crazy.
    Ive not bought a kit in yonks

    Plus the only ones I regret is the 12th anniversary kits

    Just be thankful its not american sports. Was expecting a cheaper deal for some NBA jerseys......$125!!!!

    To be fair though the jersey's for most American sports team do not change much if at all year to year. Personally I have no problem with Celtic and other teams changing their kits each year. If you don't want to buy it fine no big deal. So what if you have the latest top or not. If changing kits every year helps bring revenue into the club I am fine with that.
