New Kayal Deal Officially Signed

I'm very happy about this. And his comments on the Celtic website.

 

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought I read somewhere he'd signed a new contract but it included a get out clause?! I have to read all my Celtic news online so can't remember where I saw it

 

Well I hope your right about the Petrov and Kayal comparison. Because we got 7 very good years of football from Petrov and then a very healthy transfer fee when we did sell him to Aston Villa. If we could get the same from Kayal I would be ok with that!

 

Delighted. The guy is a quality player and I hope that those who are casting negativity on him due to a couple of poor performances wind their necks in and get behind him now.

We can now actually get good money for him in either Jan or in the summer, as some club has to buy out his extended contract, if not he could have either signed a pre-contract with some other club or gone for free !!

His english has improved loads be the looks of it as well

 

he signed a 4 year deal when he joined last year. even without the new contract he'd still have been contracted here for another 2 seasons after this.

this is really good news and hopefully will help him get back to his best where it matters most.....on the park

 

Do people honestly expect him to say anything different on the celtic website, he isn't exactly gonna come out with "yeh i took a hissy to get my pay rise, I'm looking to leave in january to the epl and it will be nice to have double the income until then, cheers lawell"

A new contract means nothing, it doesn't guarantee him staying at celtic any longer than previously, all it means is that if a club wants him then they will have to pay a little more for him, i am not at all convinced by this new contract.

If he improves his form to what it was last season then that is brilliant because he can single handily win us games. Yet a new contract doesn't mean a sudden sharp rise in form, otherwise we would be handing out other improved contracts to our poor players this season.

Absolutely delighted! Sure he had a bad game on Saturday, but every player has their bad games, and the good games Kayal has had easily outweigh the bad games. Top quality player when he is in form.

 

Lets hope this is the end of the period when he looked disillusioned.

 

Hun media campaign to unsettle us. Start saying Lennon has lost the dressing room and all his major stars want away. Aye right.

Funny how it's Commons, Kayal and Hooper the stories are always about. Our three best players on their day.

Kayal's comments aimed directly straight at these wanks. He came to the club because Lennon convinced him. He pulls on that shirt everyday with the boss in mind.

He has been having lots of wee nigling injuries. Lets hope his fitness is returning. We have no reserve league anymore. All players come back without match fitness.

 

I hope he will return us the confidence that the club gave to him

Kayal has a lot to do to make up for his poor start to the season, and his awful performance against Killie though I sincerely hope we see him back at his * kicking best

 

Should have added a wee IMO in there myself mate.

But I'm sure you agree they are three big players for us, who always seem to have "am no happy" stories and rumours about them. All since the transfer window opended.
