Alright guys, I was just wondering what everyones thoughts and opinons of this service were?
I Think its a pretty good service for £6.99 a month, as there's plenty of movies, tv programmes etc to watch. Alot of the stuff is also available in HD, and the qualitys fantastic in comparison to LoveFilm imo. There is also a free 30 day trial for anyone wanting to try it out, which I would recommend as you cancel it at anytime.
Also, anyone who currently has this on their PS3 or Xbox should check this video out. This shows how you can get the Netflix's US content, which is vastly superior to the UK content that we get, on your console and is a gem of a find.

For the price netflix is quite good I think, not a lot of movies but I've got lovefilm also so not that bothered. I've managed to rattle through all the southparks and all of the American office so I'm glad to find out about the american version thing because I was running out of shows. -
No worries mate, I just recently came across it and thought It might be useful for some folk. Same here mate I also have lovefilm too mate, hope they start providing content in HD :icon_mrgreen:

The content isn't great right now, but it's just started so obviously it will get better. It's all down to personal taste though. Thanks for the video about the US content, will check it out.

My housemate has had lovefilm for ages & recently decided to trial this. Reckons netflix is far superior in range & selection. That said, I don't know much about either of them.

Nice one, I like Netflix, the only thing thats really caught my eye is Prison Break.
Do you know how often Netflix is updated? -
for the price its great but a just watch stuff for free on my ps3 anyway so a hardly use my membership. have they got father ted on it yet

Its supposedly updates a few times a week mate. I found the US content much better, especially in terms of bigger and better movies.

Might to the switch after Prison Break, but will it effect my Sky, and Lovefilm on the xbox? -
It doesn't effect my Lovefilm at all mate, not to sure about the SKY tbh mate, i'll need to check that out.

Tried that thing to change the irish netflix to the American version and it works, also showed the shocking lack of content that the Irish one had compared to the american one. Anyway im cause I can finally watch the 3rd season of Breaking bad.

I like it but i wont be able to use it after my trial is up because it has to be paid by credit card & i dont have one... wish it was payable with other payment options too :(

Encase anybody is wondering if this works for xbox, it does. Just signed up for the free trial and tried it.
Do you not need to enter card details before you sign up for your free trial. I know I did. I think you can use a debit card aswell m8, thats what i used for the free trial sign up. -

not in Ireland it doesnt..dont think so anyway but ill look into it.. i used the details of my 3v card (pre paid credit card) to get the free trial.. and the minimum you can put on that is €20..so its too much hassle to do every month just for netflix
