I’ve just watched episode 1 of the walking dead

is this worth me investing in 12 seasons of it?

 

First two or three seasons are good and well worth a watch. My girlfriend watched the whole thing and loved it but I packed it in after about 3 seasons.

 

Enjoyed it until the eejit with the tiger.

 

Cheers - no idea what that is though

not sure about it as few mention it in their top 5 etc

 

Been stuck in a rutt recently with th esame old on Netflix and Prime, so i got AppleTV....uffft - everything i've seen so far as been class.

Severance
Brilliant. 9/10

Slow Horses
Again, brilliant. 8/10

Ted Lasso
I'm late to the party with this one but loved it. Such an easy watch 9/10

Silo
Little but of a slow burner but the story is now set-up 7/10

 

I watched silo recently quite enjoyed it not seen the others you posted but might give slow horses a go

Slow Horses has an interesting premise. Its Dark Comedy headed up by Gary Oldman (thats the sell right there). It follows a group of Mi5 cast-offs, who have failed on their duties but not been sacked, so as a punishment their re-positioned in Slough House where theyre supposed to do filing, or other mind-numbing work.
Long story short, they end up getting involved, one way or another in the big jobs.

It's all about Gary Oldmans character though - horrible old *, but brilliant.


I think S4 is due end of this month, so you only have 3 seasons to catch up on (6 eps/season).

 

Dying for the next season of Severance. Unbelievable concept, I loved it.

 

I’d honestly just watch it until you feel like it’s a chore. Happened for me around 4-5.

 

Ended up blitzing through Cyberpunk Edgerunners on Netflix, 20/25min episodes

Really loved that thought it was an easy watch, never played any of the game, thought that show was amazing

 

First episode of the penguin was superb

Dont know how many of you have been watching it but as a heads up, Season 3 of From has started back.

 

Apple TV shows are amazing

Try Presumed Innocent, Bad Sisters, Blackbird and Dark Matter.

Dark Matter is the best of the four. Came in here to give it a 9/10. Right up there with Severance for me although I’d probably just give Severance the nod. Can’t wait for S2 of that.

 

Walking Dead for me was the same as a few others on here by the looks of it.

Thought it was class to begin with. First 3/4 season well worth a watch. Just gets a bit boring after that.

 

Give The Morning Show a go also. Great cast, well written.

 

Watching Turning Point: 9/11 and the war on terror. Still by far the most * up thing I've ever seen. All these years later and still cannot even believe that happened in real life.

 

Monsters Lyle and Erik Menendez story.

That was * up but very good watch

 

Finished season 3 of Mayor of Kingstown last night. Really enjoyed the show a gritty crime show set in a blue collar Michigan town. No season 4 confirmed so that may be it and they did end things in a way that would work either for a season 4 or for that being that.

 

Throughly recommend Wyatt Earp and the cowboy wars on Netflix. Not a binge watcher by any means, but watched it over two days which is very unusual for me.
