I've enjoyed some of the signings hes made but he not up to managing at this level yet. Regardless of who they are Celtic managers should not be in their first managerial post.

Naturally being Neil Lennon, he has been afforded alot more margin for error than others but more and more seem to be coming around to the idea that we aren't progressing as we thought we would.

I'm a big Lennon fan, always will be but the board played us on this one, big time - he was cheap and his appointment was guaranteed to be met with excitement due to his club legend status. Imagine the uproar with someone of a similar managerial CV being appointed back when Neil was? Steven Pressley or some *. Would be chaos.

By and large we are better, individually. But if you ask me, Davis is a better player than Ki....sorry. Naismith is another player I'd gladly take.

Where to start, not at fault for any of the goals, get a feckin. grip, unless you dinna want your keeper to come for balls in his area i.e their second?

Badr. was feckin' useless, and I'm being kind, yep he scored but he was out fought out jamp and handed a gilted edged chance to Laugherty and fortunate for us he missed, and not forgetting he was lucky not to give a penalty away, on another day he could well have been sent off. Know he's new and needs time to settle, but remember this is no kid, its a 30 year old international.

As for their central defenders, they defended, they put in challenges, they played simple balls, they didn't give the ball to one of our players in their box to stick away in back of the net, and think you'll find they weren;t the central pairing against Maribor.

No lets stick with Samaras and Laugherty.

Ok give you Mulgrew against albeno, but mind it was Lennon that played him there, but without fear of being unpopular, I would say Albeno is a match for the others you've mentioned, Yep, Commons was great last season, where the * is he now? Feckin' * he wasn't even on the bench today.

Davis is the match of Ki, not just in this match, Ki might very well turn out to be a better player in the future but at the moment theirs a * paper between them.

You've already aluded to Jellyfish so we'll leave that one.

So no my calculators working fine imo.:50:

Funny been hearing that for three years now.....how long before we give up the keep the faith * and face facts.
Its not the fact we got beat its the fact the great celtic full of our 10 million plus players got */humped/hammerd by the worst ranger team in 20 years.
Our bubble got burst today and its time celtic fans/players and backroom staff woke up to the fact we are in trouble and ranger have something celtic have been missing for years, the will to fight to win the spl.

There's a real problem with people blindly backing Lennon even in this really questionable time in Celtic's history.

Our start to the season has been honking and he's to shoulder most of the blame for it.

I love Neil Lennon but I'm not blind to the fact he's making a fist of it lately and if it doesn't change then he may need to go.

The Lenny apologists are as much to blame for todays defeat and any future defeats as the man himself

If we keep accepting * like the last few seasons from the Celtic board then that exactly what we are gonna get - *!!

& dont anyone hit me with points totals or win ratios.. its the trophies that matter!! * all else!

its true though, you question one aspect of the team(or many) and you start getting bashed on bythe "KTF mob" when its this reluctance of fans to get their head out the sand that allows theboard to short change us time after time.

Celtic fans are the best in the world, following our team through the bad and good, we have one of the highest average attendances in europe even with the exorbant ticket prices, our merchandise sales are better than 95% of other clubs yet the fans are mushroomed (fed * and kept in the dark) every season by a board not willing to speculate to accumulate trophies all the while knowingthat the "faithful through and through" will forkout no matter what.

Lenny is a * lad, one of our own but the fact is he picks the players we bring and and to an extent ship out, he picks the team every week, he picks the tactics and quite frankly this season none of these have been proficient in dealing with the spl/ campaigns, nor in dealing with a swiss side less capable of attracting talent than us. Nor does it look like par for the course in dealing with a european campaign against smaller yet better prepared clubs than us. And yes before you mention tv money, it wasn't that long ago we were playing champions league sides off the park at home and getting through to the second rounds of CL. and i dont remember us having mega bucks then either.

    I'm not picky.
If you think Forster was DIRECTLY at fault for ANY of their goals, which is what I said in my post, then you were watching a completely different * match than me because ANY keeper would have struggled with that defence in front of him so you get a * grip!

If you also think he should have came all the way out at that corner for their second goal then you need to watch it again because if he was to come for it he would have had to come ALL the way out to the penalty spot area, where there was already at LEAST 3 of our defenders there, clatter through them to get a clean punch on it at the very minimum and hope it never fell to a hun player to bang it in the net. He done the right thing staying on his line. A different thing can be said for the defence though because that was a joke of a goal to lose, just like their third one.

It's a good job you're not a goalkeeping coach. There were enough players there that should have dealt with that ball. ALL goals were defences fault not the 'keepers.

I bet you blamed him as well for both the goals we lost against Hun FC in the CIS Cup Final as well didn't ya :87:

And on another day he could have been world class! Ever heard of players having bad days and like I said before how many time has he played for us prior to his FIRST derby game?

I'm not saying he was immense but at least he scored against a keeper you rate so highly. Plus I didn't hear people moaning about him when he played for us against Motherwell. Oh, wait, no we actually WON that match so he must be another of our players that suddenly became * overnight and after just a couple of matches

Think you'll find that Bocanegra WAS playing against Maribor because he made his * debut against them that night, so unless you're seeing two Bocanegras out there I must be missing something.

I think if we didn't play the long balls upfield and actually played the ball on the ground a lot more we would have been able to tie these two in knots. We made a bad bunch look good today.

Why stick with Samaras? You pick one of our poor strikers against one of their poor strikers? Samaras is bad yeh but Laughather is just the better one out of a bad pair from those two. If Laughather is so * good why aren't you defending him against Hooper? Can only defend him against another bad striker I suppose because there isn't a case when he's compared to another striker of ours, especially Hooper.

Yeh Lennon did play him there BUT he moved him back to LB after he subbed El-Kaddouri for Stokes. I'm not arguing with the tactics or starting line-up's because we can all see that Lennon got it wrong BUT the players never played the way they should have.

Commons I'll give you because he's been totally guff this season and that's why he obviously wasn't playing, but against Ledley? Sorry, but Ledley all the way for me. Ledley can stay on his feet a LOT more for one thing and doesn't cry when he doesn't get free kicks. As for the diving, well if he was such a great player then he wouldn't have to resort to cheating so many times would he.

I take it by this analysis you're saying, really, that APART from today there's not much between them? Kinda blows what you said about Davis being better than Ki right out the water then doesn't it

One their day, for me Ki is better than Davis.

Think you need to get a new one then because it seems to be multiplying their players wrongly to be a lot better than what they actually are :50:
