Commons needs match time, the end of last season he was first choice pick, his form has dipped, as has Kayals, but you dont get that back sitting on the bench.

 

Well again your opinion, Zaluska was gash before Forster rejoined, and Forster hes not much of a step up.

And they were both clearly the best of a bad bunch today.

 

I just dont even think of Samaras as a striker anymore.... he frustrates.. hes got a great touch & holds the ball up well.. but i think for everyones sanity he should just move on tbh

Player for Player we had a better team That's what I mean. But they were more up for it.

 

With so many players form dipping at the same time - (Hooper Kayal Commons etc) is it possible that Lennon has actually lost the support of the squad somewhat??

 

How can you say that when they won this game with relative ease and horsed the league the last 3 seasons?

Every single Celtic fan knows we need to win the league this season whether they support Lenny or not.

Personally, I think he needs to improve in a lot of areas, especially in picking a back four and sticking with them barring any injuries/suspensions.

I don't know if Lenny identified the type of defenders we needed but the board didn't authorise the funds or if Lenny didn't identify what was needed.

Either way, if we don't win the league this season I think he'll be gone and rightly so, but I do think we'll win the league this season.

One of my major issues is the lack of passion we showed in the second half before they equalised I said we look as though we are still in the dressing room, we seemed to have no motivation in the second half and that is what is worrying me most.

He couldve played that team today which imo wouldve coped alot better than the disjointed team he put out.

 

Because they played better than us. Player for Player we do have a better team.

We came close last season and we are only like 6 games in with this current crop of players.

 

I never said anyone said it .. but someone did say they still support him even if we dont win the league this season!

What id like to know is where do you & others get this faith that we will win the league this season???

I don't think we are a particularly good team but I do think we are good enough to win this league, we obviously need to improve on today's performance but we are capable of playing much better than we did today.

 

How does that prove we have a better team than them, "player for player"?

 

We wont win the league with this defence - anyone watching the last goal today was like 3 schoolboys going for the same ball and leaving their players unmarked. a * shambles of a set up we have at the back along with a terrible keeper (comeback Rab Douglas all is forgiven). Keep the faith nah am sorry this side dont know how to FIGHT. shitebags after todays performance.

 

I agree with you there.. on paper we are the better team & should walk this league.. but when your manager messes around with formations so much..makes the wrong team selection.,crazy substitutions ..& persists with zonal marking.. then i cant say im confident at this moment in time.. Big improvments needed from Neil & judging from his time here already i just dont see them coming!

 

? that doesnt prove anything, If anybody who knows and watches Scottish Football looks at both teams we are better Player for Player. They have a few good ones, (Mcgregor, Jellyfish, Davis) But IMO the rest are just average players, only difference is they play better as a team at the moment.

 

Because there manager doesnt chop & change there squad * nilly perhaps???

 

Aye we came close, but, ultimately second. And another wee fact to digest, this time last year we had amassed 6 more points!

 

You saying "anyone who watches the SPL" doesn't prove anything except you're wearing tinted glasses.

Their strongest 11 is probably better than our strongest 11. We have a bigger squad.
