    It's results like that today that cost us the league last year, circa. ICT.
    Its results like that today that cost Tony Mowbray his job.A league is a marathon and every game is as important as the next or the last. Question marks are hanging over Lennon's tactical judgement and team selections. Today's home defeat is unforgivable, and a jolt to the system from last year, when we had four shocking home draws in succession.It is not all Lennon's fault because the Board have not invested serious money in the team for three seasons now.You reap what you sow in this world.

    A good manager makes changes when they are needed. I think NL is a good manager and I'm sure Kris Commons will be on the bench on Thursday, but he really has no choice with Daniel Majstorovic due to injuries. Hopefully he goes with a 4-4-1-1 with Paddy behind Stokes, with Forrest, Brown, Ki and Ledley making up the midfield.

    i know commons has been poor this season but its early and he has been unlucky with attempts on goal,so i would not drop him for thursday as he will be our biggest threat, i would play samarass on the shoulders of the deffense with mccourt playing mid playmaker ,with ki making runs for balls being cut back and longer range shots .
    all the others would be defensive minded players ,i would resist the urge to use wee forrest as he is still to young and inexperienced .

    You dont have a clue mate,Wanyama done fine today considering it was his first game and if you compare his performance to Maj's.Wanyama played CB for his last club and he's got the head and build for it,while Kayal does not:97:

    Commons hasn't had the best start to the season but to label him a fat piece of * is a bit harsh?
    what i would say is that i think he has put to much work in at the gym pre-season as he has that meathead no neck look at the moment and the turning circle of a sherman tank!

    Wanyama was hopeless today, never won a header and or/tackle - nearly gave away a penalty and will never be a centre half- why play a midfield prospect at centre half? Commons is also overweight - piece of * is very harsh but he is letting himself down looking like that.

    Well i seen him let the ball bounce at least 3 times - basic rule of defending. He was poor IMO

    None of the defence looked convincing and all the talk of Forster being used to the defence didn't seem accurate, he looked quite indecisive today.
