At the end of the day its a managers job to pick 11 players who you think will do the best job

I think formations are grossly overrated nowadays

just pick the 11 best players dont worry so much about the formation!

I thought Lennon got it wrong against Sion, playing players in positions they just don't perform in.

The 4-5-1 isn't necessarily a defensive formation, we just weren't good enough when it changes into the 4-3-3 going forward. Stokes wide was never going to work, we could have deployed the same tactics much more successfully, Lennon made some wrong personnel decisions in my opinion.

I'm not saying 4-4-2 wouldn't have worked at home either.

Bingo. The formation will work if you put the players in the right places. A 4-5-1 would mean Samaras or Murphy alone up front, Commons and Forrest on the wings, and Ledley, Ki and Brown in the very middle.

Commons and Stokes arent used to that formation, Stokes as a striker and Commons is better on the left. The 451 (433) that is. And that was the main problem. Players need to know whats expected of them and be comfortable in their role. That just wasnt the case Thursday.

It just seemed that we didnt need to change too much from Sundays game against Utd. I feel he gave FC Sion way too much respect.

Your part in bold is correct. Stokes should have been up front, Commons on the left cutting in and we should have had someone right-footed used to playing on the right wing, whether that be playing in a 4-4-2 or 4-3-3. Our problem was players out of position, not the formation.

    All about opinions though.

No doubt about it. And Neils is the one that counts. But it seemed to many before and even more after that at home, against opposition such as Sion, we should be playing a more attacking line up.

Our best games last season came when we had two up top.

Your right players were out of formation and a little shuffle would have made all the difference.

He'll learn through experience. He's been a manager for just overe a year and he didnt exactly inherit the best of teams. With the money he's had he has done brilliantly so far. I think when it comes to playing Rangers and European opposition he tends to overthink his tactics and try to out think the other manager. I wish he'd play he'd play the players in their best positions but since he's not a stupid guy i'm sure he'll come to his senses.

Neil Lennon is very angry with the players. He said he's nearly as angry as he was after the Ross County debacle.

I bet he gave them a right telling off.

How the * does the blame lie with Lenny? If majstorivic is * how's it his fault? If we have no fire power up front how's it his fault? If our players are dropping like flies hows it his fault?. And if no money is being put forward how can he sort it?

Commons is a fat piece of *. His place should be taken by mccourt permanently. Wanyama is not a centre back. Would you play kayal at centre back?

Sorry but lenny doesnt seem to have a clue right now. And the board are * for not supplying any transfer money.

Poor team choice and subs again, why did Maloney start ahead of Forrest?:38:

Saying that, I'm glad he's ripping into the team.

Bang out of order. I bet you were singing his praises when he was scoring against the huns etc :47:

Are they still * as well for not letting our club go the same way as a lot of other clubs who HAVE spent money and not had anything to show for it?
