    fistly..
2 the bhoy malone... i txt like this cause i find it easier and it dosent feel like an writing a * essay...its a forum not english class and i find it easier and clearer 2 read spaced out posts than long winded essay type posts

anyway..my style of posting should not detract from the points im making
if it matters 2 ya i got an C1 in honours english ..yea my spelling and punctuality are crap at times but i think a C1 makes me NOT STUPID anyway
    and tell me this please..

when someone becomes a mod/admin is it an obligation 2 sit on the fence ,lose any resemble of constructive critism against anything celtic and talk down 2 others, i find the tone of mods/admins 2 regular posters including myself 2 be rather insulting at times..

i snapped a little last nite and prob went a little ott but im 100% positive i waz the voice of a lot of regular normal posters who are afraid 2 challenge mods/admins because they unfairly get spoken down 2 like children

ill try my best 2 back up my points as well as i can one last time......

neil lennons style of play will never appeal 2 everyone esceically the likes of me who love fast flowing attacking football with the emphasis onn skill and technique..the old"CELTIC WAY" if ya like

being of a similar age and position the comparsion with roy keane imo is justified and helps in understanding the ott loyal hype some feel obligated 2 support an average footballer with strong celtic ties

in his mid twenties while keano waz mixing it with cream of the crop in europe..lennon waz a decent at best player in the old 3rd/2nd divisions with the mighty crewe alexandra..
then he waz offered a chance of the big time by HIS FELLOW COUNTRYMAN MON when leicster got promoted 2 the premiership ..at that time i dont remember 2 many clubs knocking down crewes door 2 sign lennon and without MON lennon imo would never have got the opportunity 2 get 2 play at the highest level

    his ability...
when discussing lennons ability and the way his career developed its extremely important 2 look at the role tactics and formations have played in this

crewe played 4-4-2..leicster city 3-5-2..celtic under MON at their best 3-5-2..n.ireland 4-4-2..the reason this is so important if not already obvious is ALL lennons best performances came in a 3-5-2 when had 2 more gifted players beside him with pace and creating/scoring goals..his goal scoring record holding midfielder or not is abysmal..

viera/barryhun/lambert/keano/xabi alonso/tugay/pirlo/carsley etc. etc. all chip in with goals playing in that position so his lack of goals is definetly a minus
lennons best attritues are his composure on the ball and his positional sense on the pitch..after that its debateable how good his passing really is..a 4-4-2 formation places more demands on the 2 central midfielders..it exposes them more and in the modern game pace is a must and a certain amount of creative ability EVEN makele can mix it at times and get forward even needed..look at last years game v. cydle and see how exposed lennon was by young raw athletic pace..he waz overrun embarrisingly and i know there 10 others playing in the hoops that day but none looked as puffed out as him imo.. i am strongly of the opinion he should never have played again after the game and walked away with his head high last summer..
the reason we are so far ahead in the league and scraping or way through the CL has nothing 2 do with lennons ability as a footballer its down more 2 the lack of quality opposition in the SPL and our 2 main rivals hitting the self desruct button and us getting the luck we deserved under MON in previous CL campaigns infact hibs more than any other side in the SPL have exposed lennon because he cant live with the fitter faster and direct scott brown..thats imo why we have struggled against hibs this season..also his saving grace with a lot of u lenny fans on here is the mans great motivational and leadership skills..tbh thats debatable too this season..he cost us our ONLY defeat this season and waz backed 100% by his teammates..some of his prima donna arm waving ott drama is not a winning mentality and great leadership qualities imo its a man who has an inflated ego of himself and his role at celtic FC and this behaviour will at lot of times just lead 2 pushing and resentment in that momment depending on the mentality of the player he attacks with verbal diorrea

we have got away with having lenny in our team this season not been lucky 2 have him in the team imo..
if he wazent there imo..wed still be light years ahead of anything in scotland this season and playing much better more pleasing on the eye footie too.

tommy g waz signed by REAL MADRID..yes REAL MADRID 2 play the role lennon does...there isint a snowballs chance in * a club like that would EVER approach lenny even in his prime..and mcgeady has the potential 2 play for a club like that too..what does that tell u..LENNON IS SUPERIOR:43:
no i dont expect a holding midfielder 2 spray the ball around like ricquelme..what i do expect from a midfielder at celtic fc is a certain amount of pace guile and creativity and the ability 2 chip in with a few goals..all season it has been lennons job offensively 2 set the tempo and getuse playing but he chooses 2 slow the game down 2 a crawl week in week out against below average oppsotion who in our current healthy position should be not just beating but outplaying everyweek..How many times have we geniunely outplayed and outclassed anyone this season...BENFICA ST MIRREN THE HUNS all at home MAYBE

yes there are 10 others on the team but he is the captain the man in the middle who sets our tempo and dictates whether we play fast or slow..so therefore his prseence alone in the side imo does mean 2 me he is the MAIN REASON we are boring 2 watch this season

    and lastly..
as i said before I LIKE lennon the man not the footballer for the way he has battled the bigots but imo his contribution 2 celtic FC as a footballer at this momment in time is vastly overrated by some and ill stick me neck on the block here in saying that if he stays and continues 2 play week in week out next season as captain..rangers under Walter Smith will win the league..im not being negative just realistic cause rangers will improve greatly next season and luck only lasts so long..time for lenny 2 pack his bags and leave as a double winning captain and let us start playing at a faster more exciting tempo..

    HAIL HAIL
    MON THE * HOOPS!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally, i dont sit on any fence and I dont think any of the other mods/admins do either. You are just taking the us against them attitude and take extra offence when mods/admins disagree with you. Where as before these people were made mods/admins you didnt take as much offence, if any at all. Your attitude is childish, grow the * up!

I'm glad you said everyone is entitled to an opinion because that is what I am doing, stating my opinion. In my OPINION I think some of the stuff posted here about Neil Lennon is *. Now, you have your opinion and others have theirs. We all won't agree, but we're not hurting anyone by not agreeing with them. Now chill.

stop pointing out at anyone then, let them say what they want. When people say stuff i disagree with i just ignore them cos i have my own opinion on what ever. Oh and i'm not trying to be horrible or against you if you start to think that.
Leave Lennon alone now ok? Please, this has been going on forever now and just lay off. Every single week now, we're argueing about something or someone and usually it's always someone different! c'mon now this aint a Rangers Forum :56:

Cool it down a bit. People are obviously entitled to their own opinion but if you know it's gonna cause a stir, please just keep it to yourself.
I'm not telling you what to do but the forum's getting worse lately because of it and the mods etc are undoubtedly getting fed up with it and it's gonna put members off.

    Timmy, yep i agree totally.

    I agree...word verbatim..:50:

As everyone should know on this Forum by now, ...I want Lennon out now,... not next season.......for I want to see us get into the Last 8 of the Champion's League......that won't happen IMO if Lennon plays in the San Siro...and I will go one further......if we draw Hibs in the Scottish Cup on Thursday, and Lennon plays......I believe we will go out,... for Brown, Stewart, Beuzellin and Co will overun us in midfield, due to Lennon's chronic lack of pace and mobility..

My calculated guess is that Celtic will not need to renew Lennon's contract, as I believe he will be off to LA Galaxy in the summer.

As for the San Siro game....for the first time in my Celtic supporting life,... I am sincerely hoping Lennon goes down with a virus,.... and misses the match or..... better still WGS has the balls to drop him..

To argue about the merits or demerits as you see fit about Lennon or any other Celtic player is fair enough. But to wish that Lennon gets a virus so he can't play that is unacceptable.

    Lennon ready for Bhoys talks

Neil Lennon has stated he will sit down and discuss his future once the SPL title race has been concluded.

Celtic are making serene progress towards retaining the title as they currently hold a 19-point lead over Old Firm rivals Rangers.
The Bhoys bowed out of the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday after a gallant display in Milan and Lennon is now focused on leading Celtic to the Scottish crown.
Lennon is firmly in the autumn of his career, but has hinted he could be prepared to extend his stay at Parkhead.
"I will sit down and talk things through," the midfielder told Sky Sports News. "I want to get the league out of the way first.
"Now that we are out of Europe I want to focus on the league and if and when we win the league I will sit down and discuss things with the club. "If both parties are happy then who knows?"

    (lifted from Sky sports)

    So then? opinions

I have more chance of going to the Moon tomorrow, than Lennon has of getting an extension

Strachan saw only too clearly the chronic limitations of OAP Lennon last night.

Neil Lennon has been otstanding in his services to celtic , and we should fully support him if it is to be the end :50: and it has already been said he's come through more than most players during his career.

    Here's to you Neil:ynwacelti
