I think there in lies our problem for a board to sack Lennon right now they need to know football and where we are going wrong.

The appointment of Lennon was a mistake as was the appointment of Delia. If the finance folks need a reminder of what a poor managerial appointment can do for a club just look at the Delia years and the club revenues then. That is where we are heading just now again, no CL football, a dwindling disillusioned team on the park. An average challenger catching up to us. We badly need a shot in the arm again to get things going again.

At the end of the 18/19 season, The Board were opportunistic hoping we could get their Utopia back, like we had in the 12/13 and 13/14 seasons where we were in CL groups while, spending next to nothing and unearthing sellable assets with a cheap management team.

That caught up with us then and is why Lenny left then. He could see the challenge of getting to the CL Groups again with a near zero transfer budget whilst selling our keeper, having already lost four first team players in Wanyama, Wilson, Hooper and Ledley and their replacements except VVD having flopped. So effectively had ripped out the spine of the team.

Which except CB it took us a fair few seasons to fully recover (Rodgers 16/17) where we got a settled partnership with Jozo and Erik then Boyata stepped in, we had Brown, Biton and Armstrong as our engine room options in midfield and got Moussa in and had Griff as striking options.

Subsequently all those CB are away and Jozo fell to bits with injuries, the mishandling of Boyata leaving meant we didn’t get a fee. Brown has aged Bitton has changed position following injuries, Armstrong is gone. Dembele has gone and Griff has been in and out due to mental health and fitness issues.

Currently our spine of our team is made up of a loan CB in Duffy and one who wants to leave in Ajer. Brown at the end of his career, McGregor who is more effective further forward and Ntcham who wants away, a back in the picture Griff, Eddy who is for the off soon and Ajeti who has struggled so far for fitness but made a good goal return. It is no wonder we are struggling this season.

I didn’t even call you ignorant.

Do me a favour and quote my whole post next time too. You’ve literally deleted parts of sentences, never mind cherry picking what part you want.

He doesn’t care as much as we do. He’d be over it in a few days and he’d get rid of Lennon then when it’s far easier for him. Plenty of golf trips in the summer with all his new candidates.

Cant say lenny coming in was wrong, it proved a masterstroke of luck that we kept on target and improved the year after discounting cl which we missed during br last year also , its now we have a side struggling to settle with changes , the most important being gk ,we are also seeing a better challenge and its causing issues , this year was always gonna be difficult with player turnover and worldwide problems , but your points around everything else spot on

To flip this. He shouldn't be selecting guys that aren't willing to give 100%. If Ntcham, Edouard or anyone else doesn't want to be here then give other guys game time. There are guys sitting on the bench no doubt desperate to start games, having to watch some players not putting in the effort.

Not that I'm claiming these guys do want away btw. Just meaning if any do, no matter who they are, they shouldn't be picked before guys that do.

It's his job on the line. They'll still be at the club if he has to go.

Thing that * me off the most is that our season will have to be effectively over before Lennon is shown the door.

I genuinely fear for the ten for the first time. We have the better players but aren't using them effectively.

I'd punt now and go all out for an outstanding candidate on the same level as Rodgers.

I don’t question Lenny’s temporary appointment until the end of the season 18/19 and we managed to hold on to our lead and win the Scottish cup, however the football was dire. It should have given our CEO and Board a chance to assess options but they even came out and said they never considered anyone else which is poor.

Surely we should have at least explored options. CL aside i was pleasantly surprised by how we did for the start of last season. However it is worrying the amount of big games we have lost.

He came out after the Ferencvaros game and said he was sick of it there is players who don't want to be here and since then has proceeded to select the same group of players with nobody leaving. He needs chased before it's too late why wait til we drop more points

Any team can lose a game of fitbaw, but the performances are telling us something, they're telling us that all is not good behind the scenes.

We don't even know what happened with Lenny at Hibs ?

No chance he's getting sacked just now, so it's a bit of a pointless debate.

Always think it's not a coincidence he was free when Rodgers left. He was doing fine with them.

I think that was pretty obvious he fell out with players within the squad to a point that their DoF decided to get rid of the manager over the players, so there must have been a fair few of them.

I just can't picture it either mate. Milan result won't have a bearing at all either.

Avoiding defeat at Pitoddrie and it will be a "sticking with our man" from the board. Only thing that would come close to forcing their hand is a pumping from the sheep.

Personally I think we have had the kick up the * of all kicks up the * now. Performances pre-hun game were worrying, we have now had the ultimate embarrassment too. I think we are gonna kick on with players back and what not.

Last warning time but let's get going.

That would be my thinking as well but don't know the full details, just wondering if history is repeating itself.

As long as he abandons this 3-4-2-1 and goes with two strikers or reverts to another system mate.

You add Edouard, Christie, Jullien, Bitton, Elhamed, even MJ and Forrest we should be a different proposition to what we seen on Sat..

Leave Ntcham out and give Turnbull a chance..

Edouard and Ajeti as the front two, Griff too.. With Klimala off the bench..

We've got good options.. Over to you Lenny.

I think the thing with that was that Lennon didn’t want to change the tactics or setup that Rodgers had put in place. It was Rodgers team and to implement changes or style could have jeopardised the momentum for the league and cup. He admitted this was the case. Only when the new season kicked off then Lennon changed things to his management style.

I would like to think if we get smashed by Milan he will be off obviously I hope we don't but I get the impression we will wait til it becomes to late to make a change
