    In papers today Lennon saying he's happy with the squad he has and wouldn't bother of window shut tomorrow?

    He must be kidding eh? We've 1 very average LB and we are crying out for a winger.

    Hopefully he's being careful with what he says after the shambles of last season but doesn't fill me with confidence

    Left Back, Centre Back and a winger are most certainly needed and that is before we entertain Boli, Ajer, Christie, Ntcham, Rogic or Edouard potentially leaving betweeen today and this time next year - if any one of them leave they need replaced ASAP.

    I will hope this is just normal Lennon "I don't actually have a clue" transfer talk - ala last season "two more this week" that never materialise.
    He could also be playing down expectations in hope to surprise the fans and get us back in a positive mood. Who knows when it comes to Lennon though.

    A lot better from him today, back to what we all deem the preferred formation going forward, all strikers scoring and subs made at good times in the match.

    The 352 works wonders for us. We have a good group of strikers who all do something different, and a lot of options in midfielder.

    Much better today.

    Still a but loose defensively and we lack a little width on the left. Even with Duffy in I think Elhamed should get his faor share of games on the right side of the 3

    But overall we were much better

    We should never revert away from the 2 up approach domestically..

    Even if we're poor, you still fancy us to batter side's or score more than them..

    With the 1 up, you don't get that feeling..

    We are still poor at the back and look rattled whenever pressured. James Forrest playing LWB can't be the answer to that problem either.

    We are going to be an absolute handful at corners and set plays tho with Duffy and Julien

    Why do we need another centre half? We have the 3 who started today plus Elhamed & Bitton as cover. And Welsh if it came to it. We won’t be buying another CH unless someone is sold, Ajer most likely if that does happen and good chance it might I think. Unless that’s what you’re getting at?

    That's the thing today just reinforced for me. We'll blow teams away with 2 up most of the time but some games might be edgy if we're not as clinical as today and let a couple in too. Could be some high scoring games and a bit of a coaster ride but i'm up for it!!!

    Good from him changing it to 2 up top, fair play and long may it continue, we should never not play two up front in the league or against poor sides playing 1 up top is * woeful. Glad to see Paddy K & Soro get some minutes as well.
