Despite his unfortunate exit, perhaps the players have realised that Rodgers was a much better coach and manager than Lennon.

It will be interesting to see what the players reaction is in the next game.

If Lennon plays that 4321 again in the next game then I would happily see him get papped out the door cause it’s just sticking his finger up to every fan saying a big * you.

Still raging and will be for a while yet... lennons tactics and team selection leaves a lot to be desired.

I reckon he will persist, far too stubborn to put his hands up and admit when he’s wrong

We will drop more points as teams know the way we play with that formation. Also when we play them it will go * up.

it’s not a matter of if this happens it’s when, then Lennon will walk and blame everyone else again.

Sad but true. The players dont have the fans this season to show them love either and spur them on. All I see is him blaming the players for not using 2 strikers. At current rate wont be allowed to walk.

We'll see 3-5-2 soon and we'll win the league..

But, as difficult as that may be that's when we need to change manager and appoint someone who can take us on.

We can't do either. Got lucky with them having a * up during the winter break last season or it could have been a different story.

No excuses last night, any other season he'd have to go after that clear lack of learning. Great man but * me that was a disaster last night, from the team selection to the press conference, not good enough.

    This could be accurate.
Even when Lennon ever speaks about Rodgers you can see he is in awe of the rat.
    Licks him.

For those who are in love.....
Woke up hoping this was a bad dream this morning and my head splitting but nope..

Want him gone. No knee * or anything, get him out..

I won't get over that result for a long long time..

    Completely scunnered..

Tactically so easy to read and they changed their formation, pressed us and that was enough to completely spook us first half. No striker in a game we needed to win at home. Sat clueless. Got back in to it and he made zero changes to grab a hold of the initiative..

You'd be hard pressed to find a worse bit of game management than that at a decent level..

Beggar's belief that a Celtic manager would start like that and change fuckall until we were practically out at the end. The more I keep replaying up, the angrier I'm getting..

Then his rant about how it was easy and flinging multiple player's under the bus for their performances or wanting away..

Get him out. We're no playing football manager and I haven't a clue who's out there but I do know one thing....he's nowhere near the best we could get..

    Let's lay out the facts:

    Forster/Gordon downgraded to Barkas
    Tierney downgraded to Greg Taylor
    Lustig downgraded to Elhamed

A few seasons ago, our front line was Sinclair, Dembele and Robert's with Forrest, Griff as back up.

We have downsized and thos is the effect of that.

Our best player at the moment is a loan FFS

He's got to reach the EL group stages mate. I don't think he can survive not qualifying for Europe.

Agree with you though. Win the 10 and leave on his own terms.

I could actually see the rational behind the team selection last night, but I could also see it wasn't working too..

His inability to change a game is very frustrating.

An 8yr old team are becoming our barometer for success and that's unacceptable.

Same tbh mate I'm gutted to say. Backed the guy to the hilt from the off but last night done it for me!! Cluj, the 2 Hun games and then this....he's not learning and worryingly doesn't look like he will.

Always been a big fans of Lennon. Last season I felt he really stuck it to the doubters. Cluj in the CL aside overall it was a brillant season. Even after Cluj I still felt he would kick on. I even felt the Cluj game too early.

Last night is a completely different scenario. Imo ferenvarcos were weaker opposition. Knocked out in the 2nd stage, when was the last time that happened?

Unfortunately Lennon is completely undefendable here. Can't really blame the board here either. Lennon has spent some decent money the last two seasons.

It's too early too talk about sacking him. As a club we have to give him time to fix it. Lennon knows he will have to use that time wisely though. Their is absolutely nothing we can point to so far this season that indicates progress or reason for excitement. We have been left with a lot of reason for concern.

The post match reaction felt very similar to the Ross county post match reaction in his first stint. I cannot help but wonder if he is going to rip it up and rebuild again. I wonder if he is saying that knowing he has a potential big income coming our way.

Whilst am very angry at the way Lennon set up yesterday I don't blame him for questioning players commitment. You look at Rogic and Griff for example. Superb footballers who cannot find a consistent level of fitness. A fully fit Rogic and Griffith's could have changed a lot for us last night. That is just two examples. Our management team will know a lot more from general training and conditioning.

Either way, it's a very worrying start for us. We don't need excuses. We need solutions and we need them pronto

Barkas wasn't at fault at all last night.. FF may be better but nothing we could about that one.

Elhamed is absolute quality, made a mistake but is an upgrade on Lustig who was done 3yrs ago.

    KT, aye.
