If anyone has come out with any I told you so pish then they’re an imbecile.

However, like we would with any manager, most Celtic fans will be critical when we * up and will praise the manager when we win massive games.

Some people are clearly incapable of doing both though, as seen with the multiple people saying the players should shoulder the entire blame for last night.

Lennon and the players * it last night.

Yes they both did * it last night...no doubt!! Think my mini rant is a combination of knee-* from last night and the consant negativity from what feels like day 1 wearing me down!!

Just needs to ensure our domestic form isn't affected.

They're indicative of a section of Celtic fans that have been almost willing a poor result so that they can voice their historical gripes.

Truth of the matter is a lot of people didn’t want Lenny in the first instance (myself included) but some just won’t let that go no matter how much success he has brought or will bring.

Which is a bigger disgrace than last nights performance.

I'm probably one of those you're talking about saying the players should shoulder the blame. I think Lenny got a couple of things wrong - we should have played Griff from the start and pressurised them more in their half. But the fact is the tactics we were using were working - they had no chances to score until Jozo's blunder and if that hadn't happened I think we would have gone through. We stopped playing after that and created nothing before and after the penalty - maybe Lennon could have tried to change that but the players have to take the bulk of the responsibility for missed chances and individual errors which have nothing to do with tactics.
Edit - we did make one chance when the keeper saved from Griff.

I know you’re one of the ones who isn’t afraid to be critical of, and praise, the manager when needed btw.

I was just meaning in general there have been loads of people saying the manager was blameless and the players were solely to blame.

Yet it’s a different story when we beat Lazio and Lennon and the players both got the credit. (rightly so)

What an embarrassing term that is btw

No Celtic fan hates Neil Lennon ffs.

Why would a Celtic fan hate someone who is a club legend and has done an incredible job this season, domestically and in the EL groups?

He’s exceeded all expectations so far in terms of results and recruitment and has been praised by all - even the ones who didn’t think he deserved the job.

If someone criticises Broony or Edouard are they branded as Broony or Edouard haters?

We did nothing wrong in the first half except miss 2 chances. We limited them to no chances. Why would we change it at half time. I criticised Lennon through December for our tactics causing us to struggle to beat Hamilton and Aberdeen at home etc but genuinely think he's taking too much flak for this.

The team were playing well on those games .
Last night we were very poor and the system and people should have changed at half time as we were not in the groove .

Ah right, so if we’re playing well it’s nothing to do with Lennon but if we’re playing * it’s Lenny’s fault?

As the manager he is the guy to tweak the formation or change the personnel. ?
When the team plays well then the manager will take the credit along with the team but he also has to take he * when it’s not working and last night it certainly wasn’t working.

So what is ‘typical Lennon’ - Lazio home and away, every domestic trophy he’s went for 2nd time round or last night?

Difficult to blame a manager when 11 experienced professionals concede 2 terrible goals in 3 minutes.

Players utterly collapsed and ultimately majority aren’t good enough. He should utilize the squad more and give talented youngsters game time, but last night ain’t on him.

Personally I think he is too slow to change formation or personnel when things are not working.
It doesn’t mean I want him sacked , on the whole he has done a great job but I just wish he would tweak earlier . So calm down buddy .
