Like the comments about Ronny have been cuntish people saying sack him now etc it works both ways ffs someone said the guy should kill himself last week and yet people can't say they don't want Lennon without being accused of being a hun

Neil Lennon and Ronny Deila aren't even close to being in same ballpark. Ronny Deila was maybe, MAYBE, fit to be Neil Lennons number two and nothing more.

Agreed, also. I don't mind criticism aimed at his managerial abilities, although I think the vast majority of it on here lately isn't merited, but the "embarrassment" and "hanging around here like a bad smell" stuff isn't cool.

 

The abuse on here that Lenny has got has barely been a fraction of what Ronny has got. "*", "*" and even suggesting he should kill himself... nope not seen anything like that towards Lenny.

And yet just merely questioning Lenny is some sort of heinous crime but actual abuse to Ronny is fair game. * ridiculous the double standards by some on here. :smiley-laughing002:

If that's the case. Then people should think before they post.

 

There isn't really a comparison to make here. One is a Celtic legend who faced up to bigots, personal threats and physical attacks to be here. The other is a likeable Norwegian guy who unfortunately failed pretty spectacularly.

There isn't really any need to abuse either of them on a personal level, it just appears bizarre when it's levelled at a guy who has brought success to this club whenever he has been here, be it player, coach or manager.

 

I haven't seen one person say they hate him, or call him anything derogatory. Nobody.

The worst I've seen is "he's coming back with his tail between his legs".

And if anyone thinks that's hateful or anything of the sort, they're the one with the problem.

 

Pretty sure most people have called out the * mouth breathers coming out with that pish about Ronny too. It doesn't excuse the pish I'm reading about a Celtic legend in here today though.

So it's alright to call Ronny all the names under the son and suggest he'd be better off killing himself purely because he isn't a "Celtic legend"?

Where as having the status "Celtic legend" grants Lennon to be immune from ANY criticism whatsoever let alone anywhere close to the abuse that Ronny got on here.

The last I want to do is go back and read through all of it again but from memory, I'm struggling to think what the abuse actually was.

People would just prefer someone like Moyes or don't want to go back, both fair points in my eyes.

 

So it's OK to have a go at Lenny because some on here had a go at Ronnie. Have you missed the * Lennon post.
