    Cracking start.

Really need to get back to tearing teams apart regularly domestically.

As long as we can keep the majority of our players at late 40’s a season game wise I think we’ll be fine. The intensity Lenny’s teams plays with isn’t feasible towards the end of the season when you’re 50/60 games into your legs by that point.

We have the squad for it easily though.

So true, of course we're not getting carried away on one game but you're right cause we have the ability to do it. Doing it every week is the big ask, Ntcham might be a premadonna but he had a point even if it was counter intuitive.

One thing for sure is we've put to bed any teams fancy notions we're going to play every game like last season

Today made me realise how much talent we really have in this squad. Rogic, Ntcham, Griffiths, Shved, Bayo, Sinclair, Morgan, Jullien, Jozo, KT all missing, all more than capable of doing a job, to put it mildly. Then you've got Kouassi, Hendo, Arzani, Dembele sitting in the wings. Hayes even. We have depth and we'll still add some more

The key this season, which we majorly lacked under the rat last year, will be proper rotation. Last year we had Eboue, Ralston, Hendry, Izaguirre/Hayes, Gamboa/Tolijan, Burke as some of our main rotation options last year, not to mention both Rogic and Tierney played a number of games clearly unfit. Having Griffiths, Shved, Elhamed and Bolingoli as rotation options this year is going to be massive, hoping we still see another midfielder come in too.

(Of course both Bolingoli and Elhamed could end up being first choice too, the key is we have capable back-ups if they are)

@.Zander. That's beautiful, like what Prometheus had in mind :100:

Still convinced Bayo is going to light the place up when he gets his chance

Delighted with the start we’ve made and delighted for him..

A couple of class additions and we are looking very strong.

    Excellent start.

Refreshing to see our play being quick & purposeful and our finishing be clinical.

Couldn't ask.for a better start to the season.
We are surely at an advantage early season playing competitive games, champions league, before the majority have a proper run out.

We all know the talent there but something that beeds to be pointed out is the likes of Hayes. See when that intensity might dip a bit, thats what a * like that in the squad gives you in droves.

Agree, it's one of the things I can forget when it comes to the problem a manager faces. It's such a fine balance keeping players happy and fit. Think we'll all agree KT's expression when he was sitting on the bench while Callum played LB was an instance of dreadful man management, well tactical calamity too but that's by the bye.

It's probably the biggest challenge Lenny faces, keeping all that quality balanced tactically and personally.

Don't normally watch the huns but will have a gander tomorrow, probably typical newspaper sensationalising but I thought the Herald was respectable so I'm wanting to see these 5 players better in their positions than us. Actually they would be some team if they had better players than our squad come to think of it :56:

Aye, it's not great having to play 4 qualifiers but there must be positives playing competitive games for new signings and getting the team gelling.

Lawwell was just making sure Lenny could handle a big club

Hats off to NL - more exciting 90 mins yesterday than practically the whole of the first half of last season put together. His tactics of getting the ball forward earlier and breaking the lines worked wonders. We simply blew them away. No way we'd have beaten them 7-0 yesterday if the rat was still in charge. Sideways and backwards passing and a leisurely pace are now hopefully a thing of the past.

That wee Hun jobby is just blowing his flute to suit the people.. he knows the truth !

Every onlooker with an ounce of footballing brain (so maybe he doesn’t know?) can see that our team from midfield to front is not only superior to anything else at present, but better than we’ve had ourselves the last couple of seasons.

Our defence will be the only question mark ... (isn’t it always?!?) It’s interesting that we can’t really gauge the effectiveness of yesterday’s defence because it really had nothing much to do.

Europe will test it... but in domestic games ... if we are playing high possession attacking football like yesterday then ....

More of the same please !

Lennon over the Rat anyday , Fans my have went a bit delusional after Hearing Lennon was coming back after having a previous manager from the Bestest league in the world was beyond me how anyone could Have Turned There back on Lenny. He ain’t some imposter and he certainly ain’t sitting there as the Celtic manager selling his self to the World he’s Celtic through and through and he deserves to lead us to 10 an earn his Place in the History books of this fine club
In Lenny we trust not many would have put up with what he has in his life due to his associciation with Our club goes to prove he ain’t one for Shying away when things get hard and he certainly won’t let any player in that Team do similar imo what went on Last season with players Kicking up in the dressing room would not happen in a Lenny team

NL: We respect Cluj. The negotiated a difficult tie in the previous round. It's certainly the most difficult game for us so far.

NL on momentum: "Saturday's result certainly gives us a spring in our step and we can hope to build on that in the game."

NL on Hatem Elhamed's injury: "He's included in the squad and makes the game.

NEIL Lennon reckons his players can draw many positives from Saturday’s 7-0 Flag Day win, but described their UEFA Champions League third qualifying round first leg against CFR Cluj as a different challenge entirely.

The Hoops face the Romanian champions on the road tomorrow night (Tuesday), and Neil Lennon expects a tough game from an experienced and capable opponent.

“We’re as prepared as we can be, and since Saturday, we’ve watched a lot of footage, including both of their games against Maccabi Tel Aviv,” said the manager. “But it’s all on the night in terms of how we approach the game to start with. We need to be mentally strong and have good concentration.

“I’ve been clear on what we want to do in this tie, particularly away from home. It’ll be a competitive game, and both teams will want to win the tie. We’ve got a bit of momentum, we’ve got a good result at the weekend going into the tie, and that will give us a bit of impetus before tomorrow night.”

Not only did Celtic score seven goals from five different scorers on Saturday, each player who found the net also provided an assist on the day.

With that in mind, the managed added: “Psychologically, that’ll give the players a boost going into game, but this game is a totally different animal.”

Thought out of possession our players lost shape far to easily tonight, and went chasing and over committed in certain areas far to often. Cluj aren't brilliant, but defensively we looked very shaky tonight.

After the news KT is away tonight, I'm at a loss where we're heading tbh

Just hope NL is given £20-25m to strengthen
