    But we are in a way, it's up to the players to create a bit of magic in front of goal, and even in the last game against Hibs I can remember their keeper pulling off at least 3/4 top drawer saves, these are factors that are out of the managers hands.

    We had many a game under the Snake where we only scored 1 goal or none, we have had games under Lennon where we have scored 2/3.

    With Lennon given the Job, he will make changes and plenty of them, and that's why I have always said it's wrong to judge Lennon based on the performances of another mans team, many of whom were on their way out anyway.

    Most of which were at the start of the season when we were poor and playing a tonne of football.

    Rodgers last 8 games we scored 18 conceded 2. A lot of that was without Edouard. Lennon’s 8 games we’ve scored 8 conceded 2. Why the sudden drop? This “it’s not his team” stuff is an easy cop out.

    At the end of the day I want 3 points. I don’t care how we get there. But the sudden obvious change in tactics leading to less production and worse football is alarming to me.

    In the Scottish Premiership this season, we averaged 2.3 goals per game under Rodgers; we are now averaging 1 goal per game under Lennon in the same competition.

    I think were just going to have to agree to disagree on that one.

    NL: Both Callum and James have had outstanding seasons. It's no surprise they're nominated."

    : "Scotty will be here for another year. He has returned a lot of goals for us this season yet again and it's a big boost for the squad."

    NL on
    @kierantierney1
    : "Kieran is back in training and is in contention to start. We're just managing him through it right now."

    NL on #ABECEL: "Aberdeen will be going for 3rd and it's always a difficult place to go. They've given us plenty of problems over the the past couple of seasons and we expect the same.

    NL on Kristoffer Ajer: "I was a little surprised he wasn't nominated because he's had a brilliant season. He's really made that position his own.

    NL: "No fresh injuries, we came through Kilmarnock unscathed. Odsonne didn't train yesterday but he's back in this morning so will be fine.

    Cheers for coming in when the rat left and getting us over the line.

    Should be nowhere near us next season though.

    Always nice to see him with a big smile on his face. Thanks again Neil. Hopefully at the club in some capacity in the future.

    Interesting interview there, loads of discontent around the club. Yet people think it was all rosy and Brendan leaving would have no effect...
