    "Lennon isn't a coach"

"Done sweet FA in management since"

"club would be signing it's own death warrant"

That's not discussing the nuances of his tactics or flaws in his system, it's just hyperbolic pish.

That’s a load of * in my opinion. The man said himself he wasn’t coming in to change anything. There was key members on staff and senior squad players in place to help Lennon to keep things the same and he’d tweak what he needed to. He’s not some kind of saviour.

What he did last time he was caretaker was nothing short of a miracle. That was a hole. This isn’t.

I am massively worried about the prospect of making Neil Lennon our permanent manager.

It just feels like a big mistake. We haven't performed well in one game in the league since he's taken over. I don't care what stats you throw in my face, I know what I watched.

    We need a change.

Weirdest Celtic team ever, one minute they are on fire the next they are utter pish and i mean utter pish. That's not just a Lennon problem the form took woeful dips under the rat yet bizarrely we've been hovering the trophies up and smashing records left right and centre. Surely to * whoever takes the helm with the quality we have should be able to take us to the ten and beyond no probs at all.

The form has been inconsistent, the mental strength hasn’t.

I just can't help but feel we are toying with letting our grip on the 10 slip a fraction. It shouldn't be in any doubt whatsoever.

That's not down to Lennon, he was tasked with seeing us over the line in the league and winning the Scottish Cup, both of which we're in a good position to achieve.

If there's any dubiety over us winning the 10 then I'd say it's down to the failings of the scouting, previous management and boardroom for the regression in the quality of the squad.

The good thing is the damage is not irreparable, after 26th May we appoint a manager full time and back him to the hilt with the 10s of millions of £s we have sitting in the bank. Do that well and we're very much back on track.

Don't get me wrong mate we can't ask any more of Lennon this season. I'm talking about next season. I'm worried we'll go with Neil which would be a lazy and potentially costly appointment.

We just have to wait and see how things go. He's not the best candidate but also not the worst.

True though. We need to get the best man in but a lot of the names would be uninspiring eg. Moyes.

I'd rather have Moyes than Lennon. Any day of the week. And I don't want Moyes!

I’m saying if we keep Lennon, then we’re asking for trouble. The fact is he’s not a brilliant manager, the club has moved on considerably with a more progressive structure and we’re inviting Rangers on to us to be competitive with us.

10 in a row certainly not guaranteed with Lennon. I cannot believe that there aren’t more options out there that are a lot more progressive than this.

Stagnation and complacency - that’s what signing Lennon entails. It’s the boardroom who need to take a long hard look at themselves with this non-solution.

Do you want to go through all the achievements since he left Celtic then? A solid job at Hibs the best he’s done, and even then, we can see how Higgenbotham is pushing the team on now.

It has to be the absolute best man for the job. Surely you cannot believe that a club like Celtic can’t be short of quality managers who want to manage this club.

Took Brondby to penalties in his first season in Europa qualifiers.

Won the Championship in his first season.

Took Hibs to their joint highest league finish in 15 years.

Got through 2 rounds of Europa qualifiers the following season.

Gave the rat a game effectively every time we played them with 1/12th of our wage budget. Beat us at Easter Road when a win could win the league.

Google could've told you all that :50:

Often being described as playing the best football in the league during that time as well, even by our own fans.
