I think he'd do well with Ireland.

Lennon played some great football at Celtic first term and at Hibs. Lots of goals.

The Irish squad is very limited in ability. Some decent players but going through a transition. Carsley won't take the job because it could be a disaster.

I think Lennon would be able to get them to be competitive again.

Guys still a * in my eyes.

But as a manager, international may suit him actually.

Less need for the micromanagement and day to day stuff that will eat away at him.

More time just motivating and going out with a great mentality all fired up.

I know it's not that simple, but it could work in his favour.

All the best if he gets it, still a * though

Just hope he doesn't torture the Irish fans too much with his nonsense.

As an Ireland fan, anyone is a better choice than that spooner kenny. I think Lenny would do ok to be honest and the appointment would be fine for me, we need some steel. Also, I have no problems with Herr Lennon. Onwards and downwards!

It's really confusing that 2 such different posters have such similar (almost identical) avatars.

Made an absolute bollocks of the last season, but I still like the guy. Did so much before that that shouldn’t be forgotten.

Probably lined up by Desmond as our next manager. That's the kind of thing the * would do.

I'd welcome it. Neil Lennon would win that league this year I do believe. I don't judge him on that plandemic season. To many factors contributed to it

Nah * that. He outstayed his welcome that season. Board didn't sack him sooner due to fans demanding it, but he also decided he was still the man for the job when he clearly wasn't anymore. For me his time here is done.

Ferry Giving away in a recent podcast probably why it hasn’t worked out for Lennon in management long term says gaffer taken them a night out and was pouring pints over his head … Lennon just couldn’t give up being one of the boys when he became manager shake really because ferry goes on to say he was good man manager even as a player

Is that really a revelation? Lennon has always had that type of reputation. Him and Alan Thomson practically camped out in certain bars in the West-end.

Part of the reason his second spell was bound to fail really. That type of culture doesn't really work, particularly with a lot of foreign players where it's just not something they can understand.

I hope he takes the Aberdeen job and really makes a long term success of it.

He had great spells at Celtic and Hibs. The football got results and goals.

His 2nd spell at Celtic was a hospital pass. Left with a squad of * loan players when Rodgers walked out. Wrapped up two more titles and then Covid season where everything was a mess.

That 9 in a row season was some of the best football I’ve seen for us though, shame it ended when it did

If they wanted him he'd have it by now, he would of got it before Warnock was appointed too

Mid to long term maybe but short term he would definitely get a reaction.

He’s won things everywhere he’s been apart from Bolton which was a bin fire him and Johan shouldn’t have touched with a bargepole.

Aye the way Warnock left and Aberdeen said they were in advance talks with someone, if it was Lennon, he'd be in the door by now.
Monday or Tuesday they would have surely announced it.

Not like he's got any other commitments that stops him?
