Personally don't think he has the temperament for it and think it gets on top of him.

One bad season here for him has seemed to wipe out the rest of what he actually achieved. He was a good manager for us for the most part, although even in his first spell he could be a bit fiery and lose the rag.

I hate the way he acted during the covid season but I’ve softened on him again, it was a freak season that went * up for him for a number of reasons.

Hes up there with the greats to be honest. Player and manager wise combined.

    Will do Neil.

You're forgetting so so much. That good a club manager he's out a job and nobody will touch him.

I still think he would make a better international manager than club manager and nobody will make be disbelieve that the day-to-day intensity of it got on top of him pretty regularly.

And to be honest, his second spell here as a whole wasn't great in the grand scheme. We were streets ahead of Rangers and throughout his entire tenure we watched them get closer and closer to us before overtaking us.

Sure isn't Ireland looking at him to become his manager.

He's actually turned down a few jobs. Do you think for one minute he's that bad no one will touch him. Very nieve of you.

I was meaning more his first spell to be honest, I sort of just block out the second spell as it was a massive anticlimax after BR leaving the way he did.

No arguments with the fact his first spell here was trophy-laden mate whilst managing to actually progress the team year on year. I agree

Not even with a team of superstars either. Just really good but some pretty average footballers. Punched above our weight in Europe which in turn was because of the way Lenny was at the time to be honest, he just had that fire in his belly and inspired the players so much. He was a different guy the second time round, think he was dealing with a lot of mental health related stuff at the time to be honest.

He was good for us his first time in charge but since then his managerial career has been pretty bad, got sacked from Bolton who he had bottom of table, sacked from hibs who he had like 6th or 7th maybe, got sacked by that Cyprus team then aswell…. Apparently put his name forward for the hibs job a while ago and they said no…. Came in as caretaker manager for us won the league that we were already midway season through n top of the league then next season lost it after 9 years of winning it straight…. I don’t really see how anyone thinks he’s been a good manager since his first spell at us tbh

Edit: Meant to say won the league that season and then the next, then next season lost after 9 years straight wins

No he didn't. He literally won a treble the following year and won his Europa League Group. If you have wiped that entire achievement from your memory, you might consider that there could be other ways in which your memory isn't totally fair on him.

Neil Lennon didn’t lose the league for us? Didn’t get sacked from Bolton? Didn’t get sacked from hibs? And didn’t get sacked from the Cyprus team???? So are you saying he wasn’t sacked from 4 teams in a row??? Could’ve sworn he was

You said he lost the league the next season. He didn't. I can't defend his final season with us here; but he did a very good job prior to that. You literally wiped one of his best achievements (that was a decent Hun team, not to mention beating Lazio to top our group) from your mind.

I didn’t wipe it I just didn’t mention it as I was showing the reasons why he’s had a bad managerial record. Done well for Europa. Got sacked from 4 teams in a row….. had hibs 7th….. had Bolton bottom….. he could’ve won a couple games 67-0 in between…. Still bad record as a manager with regards to we’re his teams were in the tables hence why all of these clubs sacked him…. Have you erased that from your mind??? Or is that good to you?

To be fair to lennon Bolton had all sorts of financial issues when he was there and he had little or no budget to work with.

Hibs and the Cyprus team I think it was a bit of a surprise he got sacked as he seemed to be doing alright with them. His hibs teams certainly gave us some right good games at Easter Road.

Hibs were 7th in spfl. Not great tbh, Cyprus team he was losing points in the league I think and Bolton I’m not sure but I remember he said they had a higher wage bill than Celtic and he had them bottom of championship. You can’t really say he was good with any of them because the he got sacked from all while he was doing poor

Bolton I'm sure he was promised a budget when he took the job but had it withdrawn. I do mind him saying the players were on higher wages than celtics but were they no bottom when he got the job.

7th for hibs, is that no average for them. I can just mind being a bit surprised when he got the sack, was it no for a fallout behind the scenes.

The cyprus team did well in Europe under him but the league, * knows.

Certainly no a great managerial CV but he certainly did more good than bad for us.

You've edited your post, but what you said was:

This is not the same thing as merely not mentioning what he actually did the next season, it shows that you had entirely forgotten it. Erased it from your narrative. I have put the key words in bold.

I made the very reasonable point that if you have forgotten something as big as that, there might be other things he did well that you also have forgotten.
