It's a massive flaw in him that he's doubling down on this pish about greedy fans and that he's had some injustice.

His stubbornness could be considered a strength in certain circumstances but not this time you don't criticise the fans after the massive failure of last season. He was the manager and everything fell apart he needs to take it on the chin and move on.

I much preferred him the first time at least he was honest. This time he had no passion and was just a Lawwell stooge.

In fairness mate, there were signs long before that.

When he was at Bolton he threatened his mistress with a knife.

I read that somewhere but wasn't sure how much truth there was in it, not absolving the players of any blame for last season, but couldn't have been a good enviroment to work under.

For me the guy has problems, sittin with a beer in Dubai 24 hrs after another hun defeat was pretty damning, a few weeks back he was steaming drunk, a day later he was on 5 live spouting more *, he should be nowhere near football in any capacity until he sorts himself out.

He strikes me as the type of guy that would do anything to save his own skin so I wouldn’t put it passed him.

Aye for me he lacks class, has no respect for himself or others, whoring himself out to the english media in the desperate hope of landing a job, any job.

    * help any club that would be mug enough to take the guy on.

The alarm bells should've been ringing when Hibs punted him, but naw our Board just couldney resist a cheap yes man, exactly what they wanted, saved them having to look for a proper manager, he knew the club, the city etc etc ....

In his first run we were underdogs his first he showed a lot of potential to be a good manager, northern second stint was a disaster, but I never hated him, but the more he clung on and made excuses it just * me off more, and showed a total lack of respect for us. We should have known from the start when he made comments like “there’s a lot of meetings now unlike before”, “we don’t need to change much”, I think he just said to JK just do training and that like BR and I’ll pick the team.

Definitely. I mean even look at that video from a month or so ago. His ‘mate’ consoling him and escorting him out of the pub, if he really had his best interests at heart he wouldn’t be allowing him to get into that state.

He's nowhere near as good as he thinks he is, hence why he's covering games for 5 live and not back in management.

He'll be lucky to get a league 1 gig.

I wish the guy no ill health, but he's an absolute * of a man and was a massive problem at our club in the end.

He’s right there to an extent. But equally it’s him who lowered the standards in terms of fitness all round. Griffiths was probably more aesthetically out of shape but it’s very clear the whole team lacked fitness last year, and a lot if that is down to Lennon’s archaic methods and standards.

Back him in to a corner and he'll come out fighting. It's always been his way, for better or worse. He's picked the wrong fight this time tho. Turning on the fans was ill judged. He'll regret ruining that relationship in the years to come.

Thought he sounded like a complete idiot in that argument about COVID regulations.

It’s bad when you’re in an argument with Ian Maxwell and you’re the one coming across thick as *.

What's Maxwell saying i.e Gilmour situation compared to our situation?

I'm certain we were * over last season with that whilst a certain other club seemed to dodge every bullet.

Yet more Neil Lennon "everyone else fault but me" routine.

"Listen, while I gave him a bit of criticism while I was away, I have nothing but praise for him today because he has got himself in great condition,” he said.

“He probably needs a bit of time in terms of his football but in terms of what I have asked him to do and in terms of his conditioning, I am very, very happy with the condition he is in, so he will get some game time tomorrow (Monday).

“It’s a great boost. It’s the minimum requirement now. He’s got himself to a really good level so it’s important he maintains that because he will be an asset for us.”

Lwnnons own comments about Griffith a week after he left him behind as the club went to France last pre season.

    So what happened Neil?

How did Leigh Griffith's go from playing well january-march last year, then became a stone out of shape? Was the club not monitoring and touching base with players during lockdown? Surely to * you would have noticed that during lockdown and got on at him then?

But forget that little oversight of management Neil, how the * did Leigh Griffith's manage to get himself back in shape in less than 2 weeks?

How out of shape was he to be left out of the preseason squad, but was then deemed two weeks later to be in great condition?

And then was barely played anyway?

Guys full of it, he's all over the place and hasn't a * clue.

He just explained it pretty simply that no one was identified as a close contact because the team followed the protocols.

Lennon didn’t even seem to know that it was Celtic’s decision to take 5 buses after Dubai, not the SFA or the Government’s.
