Even if that's the case, they should be telling him to stop antagonism of the situation and speaking of "rebuilds". It's just winding a lot of fans up.

Board have obviously made the decision long ago the league is gone and he can bring the team through to season end. I can't fathom how he can be in charge next season. He will always be the guy who * the 10 and more importantly put himself and his own ego before the good of the club and the board sat on their hands and let him do it

Not sure what sort of contract he's on, but it seems to me he's refusing to stand down, and the board don't want to pay him off. So we're stuck with him till end of season. If he gave a * about Celtic he would have quit months ago. He'll never get a bigger job tho, the stubborn swine

Yep - I think he's here until the end of the season. Like you I can't believe (or maybe I just don't want to) that they would consider keeping him beyond that.

I doubt that there is any truth in this big bonus he's supposedly due if we win 10IAR but, even if there were, the league will be sealed before Easter - at that point the board/Lennon should announce (at the very least) that he's moving on at the end of the season.

The longer they delay - the more concerned fans will be and many will hold back on ST renewal and/or buying merchandise.

He’s talking about the rebuild job again. Surely he can’t still be here next year.

I guess it's time for me to start following curling or maybe tiddlywinks as a sport.

If this * is here next season then the club as a whole will be in for a rude awakening financially.

He ain't getting sacked. You must know that by now. If he leaves it will described as on mutual terms.

He's already had a big say on him remaining in post this long, Dermot should have no more trust left amongst the support after this season, as culpable as Lawwell & Lennon.

You're all talking each other into a frenzy. Yous need to step back and ponder the idea that the suits know they have * it, as does Lennon; There will be fundamental restructuring going on once the season is finished as, believe it or not, the people involved in the 'Celtic Brand' actually WANT the club to be successful.

The era is at the end of it's cycle, so stop acting like stupit wee guys.

The biggest culprit Imo and the reason why lennon will still be manager going into next season. Has no real intrest in the club, we're nothing more than a status symbol to him.

They will, but unfortunately not as rude as it should be.

Unfortunately there are too many fickle and "faithful through and through" fans who don't give a * apart from having their new top and seat secured.

If Lennon's still here, they'll be killing the club bit by bit.

It would be one of the most surreal decisions in football history, to keep a manager that so dramatically * a historic season and is now hated by large sections of the support, other sections merely disliking.
    Would be madness.

You're probably right. Frankly , as long as he goes (probably at the end of the season) - I don't care how how they describe it.

Assuming that you are correct - it doesn't say much about Desmond and the board does it? They are quite happy to use Lennon as a human shield to take all the abuse and cause upset amongst the fans by talking about rebuilds etc.

If they are going to restructure things in the summer (new CEO, DoF?, New Head Coach/manager) - that's fantastic.

That does not preclude them and/or Lennon making a statement saying that he won't be here next year. They don't have to provide any further information at this point - that will suffice.

The league will most likely be over in the next 4 - 5 weeks - as soon as it is, that announcement should be made. It will give the fans encouragement and hopefully stem the tide of OTT personal abuse towards Lennon.
