Don’t really see how this excuses anything that’s happened. We’ve had players wanting to leave before without having the total implosion that we’ve seen this season.

 

Agreed. Boyata refused to play after the WC, because we wouldn't give him a new contract. Cost us CL groups by not making himself available vs. AEK. It did not implode the whole dressing room. End outcome: the airhead had to prove his worth to potential suitors- all of a sudden he was making very few mistakes. We won the league.

The comments about not wanting to go into it is probably his way of saying he doesn’t want to name names. Probably regrets saying it as it will have folk guessing all sorts of stuff now.
