    Why though?

His presence is toxic and it doesn’t achieve anything keeping him.

There is no justification for him still being here. We could put Brown and McManus in temporary charge until the end of the season.

It’s far from ideal but the ends justify the means. Lennon is dismantling the club with every passing day.

    People still asking about reviews.

There was never a review. It was a way to buy themselves time because they were arrogant enough to believe they’d turn it around themselves.

I absolutely can stand this *. His arrogance is * unbelievable.

He is causing more and more damage everyday he is left to continue as manager at the club.

Reminds me of the movie Downfall when it’s suggested the Nazis, having obviously lost, should surrender to spare Berlin and Goebbels basically says * the German people they voted for us so they can suffer the consequences.

To some extent that’s how I think Lennon views this situation. It’s like he’s saying * the fans, I achieved success in the past and they supported me in the past so they can suffer now. If they didn’t want this to happen they shouldn’t have put me in charge.

There’s no one that can convince me he doesn’t hate the support. There’s always been an undercurrent of bitterness towards a section of the support but it’s clear he just has complete contempt for all of us.

Methinks lennon might have a bonus for winning the scottish cup clause in his contract which stops the board from sacking him .but as others have said just put him on gardening leave.HH

I actually think there will be a review taking place. I just don't think the focus of it will specifically be the manager. I'd expect there to be a full review of all football operations to be taking place, either by or on behalf of the new CEO. Possibly by an independent consultant brought in specifically for it, if the CEO isn't able to due to his SRU commitments. Not sure when he officially leaves them.

But the manager's role would only be part of the review. As I said in another post I can't see anything happening until nearer the end of the month, if at all. And yes, it's just speculation on my part again.

I got the feeling that when it was announced (the review) that it was the board trying to appease the fans in the hope performances and result would change and that may have gotten the protesters back on side. A buying for time exercise.

It's a typical PL move, say the right things in the hope all the furore dies down and people's attention is diverted onto something else.

That’s what I’m thinking, Lawwell is obviously saying I don’t give a * if Lennon stays or goes as he’s leaving, and he’s probably said to Lennon to stay if he wants, and Lennon is just being a complete *.

The loyalty afforded to this man while the full Celtic support continue to suffer is a
mystery. He was a great club captain and servant but he’s only one of many. We can’t allow sentimentality to drag the club down even further. Jock Stein and Billy McNeill would quickly admit that no single person is bigger than Celtic Football Club. So why is Neil Lennon getting special treatment?

His dismissive attitude and arrogance when it comes to fan frustration is what really irritates me. In his world, it’s only the MSM who want him out. There’s no way that Lennon or the club are completely shut off from social media - the only platform available to supporters at the minute. They must see that the overwhelming majority of supporters want change even if it means going through the rest of the season with an interim manager.

This feels like a living nightmare. It’s self destruction really. We know what the problem is and we know what the solution is. We are just delaying the inevitable and that’s the part no one can understand.

Neil keeps asking why should I consider my position?

Here’s the most recent example Neil, you got schooled by St Mirren Manager Jim Goodwin on Saturday, despite having resources multiple times that of him. He completely out done you tactically and you didn’t have a clue what to do about it, just like the rest of the season. What makes matters worse Neil, Goodwin told you before the game he knew how to beat us and exploit our weaknesses which should have been motivation enough but then simply strolled up and delivered exactly what he said.

Let that sink in for a minute. Celtic would be better with Jim Goodwin in charge just now rather than you Neil!

See if we can’t afford to pay Lennon off can we furlough him and bring back one of the 90% of staff who are currently on furlough to take the team?

Would love to be a fly on the wall in the hotel with them just now. Banter must be shocking, no one speaking to each other. Lennon and Kennedy grunting at one another every half an hour or so. Gav Strachan absolutely bossing Spider solitaire. Players praying for it be full time so they can go home again.

It definitely seems like the only thing the board MIGHT consider to be a sackable offence from him is losing 2nd spot. It's like the state between us and 1st doesn't mean anything to them at all. It's beyond weird and into cryptic at this stage...
