So in a nutshell... sod all has changed.

    Lawell still here till June?
Not gone, hanging round like a bad smell.
We all knew he was going, why the party atmosphere?

    Lennon is still here.

For all the big fanfair... nothing has changed.
    We are where we were.

Hopefully next in line to step down or let go.

He’s made so much of his relationship with Lawwell and Lawwell’s leadership that it would almost be an act of betrayal for him to stay on.

As much as I want change right now, this McKay fella will have his notice to work and Lawwell can’t walk out without finalising ongoing affairs and doing a comprehensive handover.

Getting the top man in first is surely the right thing to do. Then change can start to feed it’s way down the food chain (I.e manager / coaching staff / players).

Really hope we can attract an eye-catching DOF and Manager now.

Got to be realistic though and realise the change we crave is going to come out at a cost. Hopefully the new breed can bring us instant success but it might not be straightforward. It’s not like we have a ready made squad and an established recruitment network.

So, Lennon better have a plan on how to infect Rangers players and staff with COVID, now that he's staying.

The club is a big part of my life, which is precisely why I would decline to renew my season ticket in such a scenario. The people in charge of the club are harming it, and it is plain that the only way to bring them to heel is to withhold money from them.

So Lennon claimed today there's no 'old pals act' between him & Lawwell, said he's been strong with him, yet allowed Lawwell to tell him he wasn't getting his own backroom staff in his second spell as manager? Aye, sure Neil, you were really strong with him there eh, not as if you just rolled over like a good wee bhoy because the same man gave you a job in football you should never have been in on merit :87:

A wee sneeze on a well placed Union Jack next game against them would do the trick, worked for the Americans.

Someone could always sneeze on the lodge's sacrificial goat so they don't get any more "honest mistakes"

Celtic: Peter Lawwell shouldn't 'bear brunt' for poor season, says Neil Lennon https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/55859593

Have to say, as angry as I am that this season has gone this way, Lennon speaks well here.

Look, 10 in a row I based my life upon this season. Made an email address based on it. In every shower since the beginning of 9inarow, I washed my eyes and rubbed around the eyelids 10 times, etc etc

Bit ultimately - what was 10 in a row for? It was to * the huns off and hold it over them for all eternity.

The way I see it, bearing in mind lennon’s comments there, we have won 9 in a row (twice). The huns haven’t done that. We’ve won a quadruple treble. The huns haven’t touched the sides of that. We have the best team in Scotland, of that I am convinced and with adjustments/ signings / a new manager for the new season we’ll be back to normal in no time at all.

If I can be * off about anything saying all that, it’s the incessant hun-loving media going on about 55. This rangers team is going for their maiden title - it’s not their 55th league title and anyone who says so is delusional.
That Celtic didn’t challenge that when we could have - when they got liquidated folded and were reborn as a newco - is the biggest stain on Lawell for me: he lost the 10 to a newco kinda half-decent rangers team.

    But we will come again.

    The cream will rise.

    We are Celtic.
