It’s not the name calling that’s the problem it’s who it’s directed at. Lennon has suffered horrendous abuse while playing, captaining and managing Celtic while in Scotland.

His time is up absolutely, I just don’t understand the vitriol aimed at him from sections of our own support. He gets enough of that from everywhere else in Scotland.

By all means call him useless, unprofessional, not up to the task etc.

Digs about his appearance or drinking habits? Not for me mate.

Yeah I agree and I personally have never been a big fan of him but theres a line.
I want him gone ASAP....but I'll give the "who can call him the worst thing" game a miss.

Aye but it’s alright for Lennon to continually (over two spells) call out supporters, call them not real fans, delirious, spout blatant lies and utter bullshit contempt and plenty of other stuff that can be brought up.

Aye, loves to forget who was in his corner and when does ‘oor’ Lenny.

He tried whoring himself out to England his first time as a manager

Make no mistake about it, if he had any chance if a job down there on half decent money he would be gone

Reminding me more of Ally McCoist by the day

Spare me the pish he is some sort of massive Celtic man

    * me I hold Lustig in higher esteem than him as a bigger Celtic man....

It does seem like a competition on here sometimes on who can be most outlandish when criticising him.

We are actually through the looking glass now where it is people who are defending Neil Lennon who are being marked as huns.

    Strange times we live in.

After 13/24 years of sectarian abuse, assaults and constant media attacks who the * could blame him for wanting away from Scotland?

Lustig a bigger Celtic man, away and lie down ffs.

In the company of my own with a skinful in me, especially after the game on Saturday I'd have probably been calling him all sorts.

I'm actually in the mindset I don't do the name calling in here as I can imagine the hun lurkers and infiltraters masturbating furiously at us all bickering with each other over a man we are probably in universal agreement with should be gone....and gone long ago.

    That’s a fair point.

Still not enough to warrant the abuse dished out now though in my opinion.

Do you honestly think he tried whoring himself to England to get away from all the abuse he got?

    If so, why come back?

Oh believe me the whole club was getting it in my household at full time on the 2nd. Useless * the lot of them, sell them all, I’ll drive Eddie to France and put Ntcham in the boot. Lenny can * off to match of the day etc :giggle1:

And that was me on my own in my flat!

Who knows? Maybe he’s a * * who loves getting attacked in the street and in stadiums?

What any of that has to do with what I was talking about is beyond me though.

That's what I thought when I woke up this morning, but someone on here apparently saw him behaving like one at a golf club and corrected me earlier today when I said I quite liked him.

Interesting that you picked up on money there. That wasn’t my main point. As you said money isn’t the main motivator for some people. I agree, hence why I said it’s the job and the career. Selective enough to be leaning a bit towards a straw man yourself there.

I apologise if I you feel straw-manned though. I did say ‘presumably’ to make it clear I was guessing at what you think, so it’s not quite a straw-man. I couldn’t see any other reason why one would think he’s sticking with the job apart from ignorance about how badly he is doing but that’s obviously laughable. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have guess at what you think.

Why do you think he’s not leaving the job?
