Giving how he has not been sacked after all we have been through,i wont be surprised if he is still in charge next season.

I mean he cant get any worst and yet he is still here so dont be surprised if he is still here next season.

I finished work and logged straight on to the BBC site to see the score. It said we were 1-0 down in the 88th minute and they hadn't had a single shot on target. It sounds like Bitton self-destructed and that, even with that, we were unlucky to be losing (and it sounds like there were a few honest mistakes along the way).

Nevertheless, I can't think of a way to defend him here. Individual poor decisions like Bitton's may not be his fault, but the fact that they have been happening frequently all season is absolutely the manager's responsibility. To lose the league at all is unacceptable as Celtic manager in the current climate; but to lose it in January in what should have been the 10iar season can't not mean his job.

I feel really sorry for him, I don't think this will turn out to have been all his fault when everything comes out, but it is his responsibility. That's what the role of manager means. I feel bad saying this, because I don't doubt for a second that this hurts him as much as it hurts us or that he gave the job his all. But it's true.

It should be done now too. Get the new guy in this month with time to prepare for Europe. Presumably the EL qualifiers.

Serious question. What does this parasite have to do to be sacked??? It appears he isn't even close to it which it's frightening and Infuriating in equal measures.

19 games played since and including the first Hun defeat.

    8 games won in 90minutes.

If they try that then the scuffles with the fence by a few dozen last month will seem like a Kumbaya session in comparison to what happens.

If I remember right the board said after the county game that they’d assess things in January which I presumed at the time to mean if we didn’t win the final and beat rangers today they’d need to switch things up. There’s no justification for sticking with Lennon now. Should have gone months ago.

    Oh they will try it.
If the pressure gets bad this month, they'll make that change and pretend it to be an interim thing and hope he gets some good results and they can bank on enough fickle fans to allow him to be made perm.

They'll soon be in for a shock then.

ST renewal time isn't too far away.

    Resign.

He’s been given more time than he deserved.

He’s been backed in the transfer window.

And he’s now won a treble as manager and player. He got what he wanted in that respect but it’s time to go and let the club move on to a new era.

We were miles ahead of them when Neil came in and they are now a mile ahead of us. He’s responsible for that decline and regression.

Bolingoli being a * as well for me, stopped us from gaining momentum and had us on the back foot, and an inflated confidence for them.

    Yep..

Backed by selling out season book's, when everyone knew fine well there'd likely be no one in for the season and yet they've still ripped the *..

They'll regret that in the long run..

Lenny will be here for the start of next season which is my feeling with the board. When you think back to the Martin O'Neill era, even when Rangers won the league O'Neill was kept on. So was McLeish. But I don't think its the right decision I was hopeful with the six games unbeaten we'd be able to win today. And I thought it was good that Lennon won the treble. But its over. Time for him to go. We played well today but it wasn't enough. End of an era. We've blown it.

They'll hold out through the protests and hope that eventually the mood just turns to apathy and * just stop caring. A few hundred fans outside parkhead means nothing to them, as long as they get 30-45k season ticket renewals the board won't give a *.
