Today signals for me, he is definetely devoid of ideas and game management, along with all his other issues that seem to lack in actually coaching and educating players on the training ground.

But today was a good sign that he is at least able to pick a team that is capable of overcoming those turgid football he sets us up to do (or more likely, lacks in doing).
The players today can most certainly get better by learning each other in that middle and perhaps we can go on a wee run here.

However, clear as * he just is not the man to see us over the line this season. He still needs to go and we need a manager willing and able to do better to improve us and not just go through the motions with the fear and desperate hope that the players are better in their sum than that of what Lennon puts out.

The board however will not see it to this level, they will see these two wins (and most certainly a cup win) as a sign of improvement in its simplest form and stick by him.
When really this has every chance of falling apart at any time again.

Thought we played very well today, I'm glad he struck with the players that played well on Thursday as well.

I wish he had played them months ago other than getting splinters in their *!! Makes it worse imo!! Maybe that's for another day. Best half I've seen this season

Just infuriates me even more that he hasn't freshened up our midfield and dropped certain player's..

If Turnbull and Soro started against St Johnstone we 100% don't drop point's last week..

Good second half after a dull 1st one. If further lessons are to be learned. Eddy needs dropped, probably sold. Klimala is energetic and direct. His work rate just annoys defenders. 1 up top at home is a nonsense. Needs scrapped. Needs to be 2. Klimala plus the penalty box finisher that is Griff or Ajeti. Need someone mopping up second chances and presence to annoy CB's.

As post above says. Lennon isn't the man to do this. Players need proper coaching. The finer points of working in tighter spaces with 2 touch drills etc. Long term ain't the answer.

But improvements last 2 games, no doubt. Soro and Turnbull very good. Must starts going ahead on form. No stupid changes for the Diet Scum final.

From his comments there I don't see him playing the same team for the Cup final. Hopefully he has a think about it and keeps on playing a winning team.

Completely clueless when it comes to tactics, its obvious we dont need 2 sitting midfielders, obvious edouard is never a lone striker and that he couldnt give 2 *, we have the players but the management is found wanting!

I didn't like those comments from Lennon.

The players that have played the last couple of games should be in the cup final, not the guys that got to the final. They are the guys who have been poor this season.

Lennon was just asked about his selection for next week given the form of the new players etc.. and he said “there might be 1 or 2 new faces” but he feels the “hardcore who got us there deserve the chance”.

Don’t drop in form players!!! Sentimentality is weakness!

Just said that he will probably have to show a bit of loyalty towards that players that got him to the final for next weeks team selection.

That’s not how football works ffs, risking a cup just to give Scott Brown and co a game. Fuming with that tbh.

Stumbled upon a bit of form. A decent manager would have seen the need for Turnbull and Soro months ago. Credit for sticking with them though, just needs to click on to Edouard now.

    Aw * off.

He’s finally managed two wins in a row. Don’t go chopping and changing now to get your pals back in the team.

I'm in the camp that he needs to be replaced but I still don't agree than we won all 4 domestic trophies since he returned and potential a 5th next weekend, in spite of him.

They were won on merit by the teams that he picked.

Not even a win can give the guy even an hour of respite.

    Ah well.

If he has actually came out with that claim and is planning to bring the old guard of Brown and Chrisite, even Ntcham back in to this side, he is every bit as stubborn, arrogant and deluded as we feared before today.

Those comments only do one thing for me, prove he only went with this side to give those guys a rest, not to actually give these lads a chance and do different.

A rest for Brown and co, hope that they take the "psychological" positives of others doing their job for them and banging on for the cup final against a Championship club.

He just needs to * shut up at times.
