We’re going to have to endure a hiding against the Huns in January at this rate.

    Ashamed at this point.

I have just about come to terms with the loss of the league title. I think that being unable to attend games has softened the blow somewhat.

I am now more concerned about the coming years. I think that there is a real danger that the balance of power will swing the other way entirely if nothing changes.

I didn't watch the AC game and won't be watching the Lille game.

Sickening to watch 3 supposed Celtic men stick their heads.in the sand and tear our club and season apart.

Weirdly enough, today it actually went up by 1.

Massive hit due to Covid, naturally.
Taken small drops as the season has went on and we have been knocked out of the tournaments, but weirdly today it went up by 1

NEIL LENNON has begged for more time to save Celtic's season and his job.

The Hoops boss is under huge pressure after the 1-1 draw with St Johnstone left his side 13 POINTS behind Rangers .

But SunSport understands he was last night given boardroom assurances he is safe for now.

Celtic needed a late equaliser from Mohamed Elyounoussi to avoid yet another loss.

Angry fans are demanding change after just two wins in 12 matches.

But Lennon insists he's still the man to turn things around. He said: "I understand their frustrations when we are not playing well and not getting results.

But there are ways and means, and some fans are more irate than others.

"Right now I agree with them our performances don't equal the quality we have, if that falls on me then so be it. If there is going to be a change then so be it, but I'll not stop working to try and get it right.

The results have been bitterly disappointing and the performances haven't been great.

"I'll continue to work as best I can to bring success to the club, but we are going through a real bad period at the minute.

"Can I turn it around? Yes, of course I can.

Will I get the time to do it? I've already been told the club are with me.

But I know it's a results-driven business and the results aren't what they should be.

"It's not a question of me deserving anything.

"I'm grateful for the opportunity to be managing Celtic. But I don't fear anything."

Asked if he was worried his time was up, Lennon added: "I can't answer that. I don't want to pre-empt anything. I want to keep working to try and turn it around.

"We need a bit of swagger back in the team."

Celts owner Dermot Desmond held talks on Zoom with Lennon last week and vowed to give the under-pressure boss time to turn things round

It's understood the club's board held further talks last night with Lennon preparing to continue.

But with just two wins from their last 12 games, and on their worst run of home form since the late 1950s, the Hoops board are coming under increasing pressure to act.

Asked if this latest result changes anything, Lennon said: "I don't think so. I don't want it to change either. I want to keep working. I have got good people behind me.

"I just need to get the players back to the levels that they are capable of.

"Do we look at our training? Do we look at our routines? Do we look at our set-ups?

"We have analysed all those things to death.

The players have to look at themselves. We are better than this.

"We need to find a solution to this as quickly as possible. It is too tentative.

    The play is too tense.

"We are taking too many passes to get forward and there is not enough quality in the final ball."

Asked if he would resign if he felt he couldn't take his struggling team any further,

Lennon added: "That is a hypothetical question, so I am not going to answer that."

"if that falls on me, then so be it"

    * off treating us like imbeciles. The arrogance of that statement. So nonchalant, even hinting that it might not fall on him is a kick in the teeth.

It DOES fall on you so stop playing the victim.
