Two big matches at grounds we struggled at in the last year or so. And we had to go there without Christie, Ntcham, Rogic or McGregor.

Well done, Celtic.

 

Excellent 2 games for him! 1 more game away from the treble treble once we get these league games out of the way taking into consideration well win them.

 

So, so happy for Lennon!

The amount of pressure he would have been feeling going into these 2 games would have been crazy.

I genuinely would have given him a pass had he dropped points at Hearts or failed to win today due to the circumstances. The fact he won both is a massive credit to him and the players.

Now with that initial pressure off he can get settled back in and get to work.

2 grounds we really struggle at and although I wasn't overly happy with our first half....they never really threatened us..

Once we changed it up got Forrest in the hole and after shooders goal we really ripped the complete and utter * outta them..

I would have as well mate!!! Our recent record at both isn't great reading!!!!....to get 2 wins this week is fantastic start for him!!!

Lennon's got this , a wee bit tricky to negotiate in the cup but were 2 games away cup and they're at hampden,
with an 8 pt lead with 10 games to go league.

You can't underestimate the courage it took for Lenny to take charge this week. Not only because of the previous off-field incidents but also because he was taking charge of a team on a winning run. If the wheels came off he would have been under (undeserved) intense pressure.

Add to that the fact we were facing two of our hardest games of the season. When Rodgers was still in charge I truly expected us to lose or draw one of these games -as I don't think his style suits the more high-paced aggressive games you get in Edinburgh. For Lenny to pull two victories out of the bag in these circumstances is a real testament to the man.

 

2 cup games and beat the huns at the end of the month and it’s job done.
Brilliant boost for Lenny with his first 2 results.

 

Huns have to win tomorrow or their seasons * again , then away to hibs next friday to try put any kind of pressure on us.
