Well they said they didn't even look at any other candidates before appointing Lennon. That just about sums up what we're dealing with here..

And whenever that happens, the manager is quickly out the door..

You can't sack Edouard, Ntcham, Christie etc. It's always the manager..

Somehow this board have just let it rumble on for month's after Ferencvaros which is utterly unbelievable. I wanted him out that night and over 3 month's later, no improvements.....this is where we are..

There's a way to protest... and the 'fans' outside CP the other night completely * up!

I've no doubt that NL would have been gone by now had it not been for those scenes.

What an utter * of a season!

Why do you have no doubt?

Managers before him could've been sacked for fielding no strikers against a mediocre Ferencvaros team In a 1-off UCL qualifier and failing for the 2nd year in a row to bank £30m+ for the club.

Managers before him would've been sacked for the weakest performance v the Hun in living memory, defensively shambolic and failing to register a single shot on target - a performance so bad that even the worst of the worst 90s team didn't stoop to that level

Managers before would've been sacked for being scudded 4-1 at home to a Sparta Prague B team.

Managers before would've been sacked for being scudded 4-1 again by the same team 3 weeks later, when they were in the midst of their own crisis with 4 defeats in their last 5.

Trying to blame the 200 fans who are rightly furious at the mess we're in that Lennon is still here is a nonsense argument.

He's here because our board is totally incompetent. End of story.

Some * up, a couple got a bit rowdy but most just went to protest and rightly so. I wouldn't be surprised if the polis got overly physical which made things worse. The board saying they won't "boy to yobs" is deflection tactics, nothing more

Wouldn’t surprise me as the reason for him still being here is no one else wants the job. I know people will say it’s an honour to manage Celtic and you are right but at this point, who’d touch it?

Some deluded pish like ill wash my back tomorrow and we go again board will see this game as a dead game anyway.... St johnstone get a draw rinse repeat

Keep seeing this on twitter but nobody wants to elaborate on it. A guy through a fence yes that shouldn't have happened but other than that the big boys were shouting how will the poor millionaires cope

Is anyone here seriously suggesting that the scenes the other night won't have made the Board dig their heels in even further?

Seriously what do we expect the Board too say ?

Announcement : We have told this Lennon chappie that the several players ( ie our main $$$$ assets ) have told us they dont like him and have deliberately thrown games to undermine him and its worked. We cant sack them, so we will sack him as soon as we have a replacement. We havent told him that yet but we will asap.

We werent too worried about the league cup and were already stuffed in the Europa so we are taking our time.

Our main problem is some candidates have expressed concern that these 6 or 7 over-rated entitled twats now think they run the club and will spit the dummy again if they dont like something .

The "ahhh poor Neil is only doing his best" brigade really need to take their head out of their arses..

Hes a * disgrace that is failing miserably at his job and refuses to leave for the good of our club..

In what way shape or form should that then reflect badly on the support ? The support who have pumped money in to the club money which this year most don't have. Paying mega bucks to watch a streaming service that half the time doesn't work. Flocking in hundreds to be at the superstore for a midnight opening in the middle of a pandemic. The board are trying to set a narrative and push an agenda and some of our support are happy to sit by and lap it up. The reality is Lennon should have been gone a long long time ago and really should never have had the job full time in the first place. Take your head out the sand and look at the bigger picture

My only remaining hope now is they'll use Milan pumping us as an official reason to punt him.

So you excuse away all the previous digging in of heels and surmise because they've done it some more that it's related to the protest?

If they don't think he can turn this round then that should be the only factor in making their decision. Anything else including what fans do or don't do, is a total irrelevance.

Milan could beat us by ten which isn't that far fetched and he'd still be in a job.. I know that, you know that and worst of all Lennon knows that

They sat for hours with Lennon yesterday. They were making up hand written notes with "Do you like me?" And yes or no boxes. Lawwell was then folding them and making a pile. Lennon distributed them to the squad and they are awaiting the findings...
