So many did it was insane. They thought Hearts would beat us, 24 hours later they were angry. They hate Lenny, its what makes it sweeter.
As Sean Mac D and Random Review have said he is the epitome of Celtic. His blood is green, he sweats white and due to being dehydrated * gold. A great player, a great manager and by all accounts a top guy. I thought he was great at Leicester and was delighted when he came to the club. The stuff he has had to deal with playing for club and country(getting death threats for becoming captain), the man deserves the respect of all, sad he gets so much hate. We should be proud to have him with us.

Your right sportscene bringing up secterian songs really, opening of the analysis they focus on a hearts player * if celtic got beat at home it would be the opposition player being praised, they are so bitter right now, get it up em

Lennon said if we win the title it will be Rodgers achievement and not his.

Imo if/when we win this title it WILL be Lennons. He is here to see us over the line. If it was won before the fraud bailed then fair enough, but not an 8 point lead with 11 games left. Our 8th in a row will be Lennons achievment

The thing is Lenny is a humble guy and respectful. Even with only 11 games he must get the medal over Rodgers.
Rodgers is not humble, in an interview at his home as Liverpool manager he had a * painting of himself above the mantlepiece

If you had asked me months ago if I would have welcomed him back with open arms as Celtic manager I probably wouldn't have.

Not because I have anything against him. Simply because I'm not one for going back to old flames, if you like.

But right now it just seems right. Last night felt amazing. Like the fans, coaches, players and even Lawwell and co let out a big * you to Mr Rodgers.

Now is the right time for Lennon and im fully with him again all the way. For me, the job is his. I think Lawwell and Desmond already feel that way. This is simply a 3 month probation.

This really is a manager who literally would give his life for our club and has proved it over and over ,not cheap talk and walk .

Totally agree with everything you said there. I would also have felt a bit strange with it, but now its absolutely what we need, and I can totally see him getting the job again full time in the summer

If he wins the League and Cup then it's his job to lose. Still a part of me that feels like we should be aiming higher but having lennon in the dugout last night just felt right. Would be lying if i wasn't excited for the summer window now under Lennon but, which was something i was dreading with the rat.

And the great thing is he has longevity he's only 47 and feels like he been in and about celtic for years.... Could very well build a long career dynasty like fergie did at man utd.... As long as he's successful of course.

Under no circumstances should Lennon feel inferior to Fraudgers. I see he's bigging him up quite a bit but when it comes down to it he had the measure of him in the games against each other. With the gulf in resources between the two thats no mean feat & not to mention that his win ratio during his time here trumps the rats which again was achieved on a smaller budget than what Fraudgers had. I understand he has to pay homage to a certain degree but he should bear in mind his own record and also read the room a tad as the rat is widely despised by the support. There is huge room for improvement in this team, deficences that he as an opposing coach did well to exploit. If he works on improving those then there's no reason why he can't trump Fraudgers all over again.
