It's more than just some cash tho. It's a sizeable amount, especially if, like people think it's his last decent job in the game. He has the right to want paid up. I have far more hate towards the board than I do towards Lennon. They'll do anything to save money and line their own pockets.

To be fair to him it doesn’t look like he’s got too many pay offs coming his way in the future, no harm to him but he’s sort of past the stage of posing for calendars

Like a broken * record at this stage.

I was prepared for the eventuality that this season might not go to plan, but for it to go this badly this early was unthinkable. Out of the Champions League, the Europa League, The League Cup and 11 points off the pace in the League by November is terrible - and Lennon will try telling you it's not a crisis? The board are content to let it go on for this long?

Performances were poor at the start of the season, but at least we were getting results. Our top players were playing poorly, but "it'll click" I thought. It didn't, it hasn't and it's getting worse and worse and worse.
We STILL can't break down organised defences, we STILL can't defend set pieces, we STILL can't deal with counter-attacks, we STILL can't press the ball well and as a result confidence has been draining away with every passing game.
It's not an issue with attitude, effort, desire, mentality, culture or whatever. We're badly set-up and not playing to our strengths, and the harder players try to correct things, the worse their decision-making gets and the more desperate and ragged we look.

You could go through every single player and point to a significant decline this season. That isn't just bad luck or coincidence, that is a massive failure in management. He's tried everything in his playbook. Formations, players, praise, criticism and now he just looks like a man bereft of ideas waiting to be put out of his misery. He should have been removed after Sparta at home. That was an embarassing result that capped a season of poor performances, but he soldiered on and we paid the price. Regardless of whetehr Lennon thinks he is thr right man and should get more time or not is irrelevant now. The evidence that he cannot arrest this dramatic slump in form is mounting, and the fact the board haven't taken the decision out of his hands yet is maddening.

He has the same dead-man walking feel as Ronny Deila did towards the end. Removing him now releases the tension in the support and changes the atmosphere. The right appointment gives the players a short-term bounce, and should fix at least some of the graing issues we have. A new manager now gets two dead rubbers against Milan and Lille to work on defensive shape, and then at least some relatively soft-ball fixtures to build momentum and win a Cup Final.

I worry the board is hoping we can use that run of fixtures to save Lennon.

What the * taking so long to sack him..... then you remember how long it takes Celtic to do transfer deals. Prepare for this to be announced 11:30pm, January 31st 2021.

While he is entitled to a pay off, surely Lennon is a multi millionaire? Any rumours of money troubles?

I have thought better about him smirking in those interviews, sometimes in moments of such catastrophe the gravity of what’s going on doesn’t compute until well after the fact, especially when you’re bang smack in the middle of it. That said, I think one look at those protests will have woken him up to it fairly sharpish. I don’t want him to feel unwelcome at parkhead, it should never ever be the case for a guy that’s given so much to the club. But he has to realise equally what he’s taking away from us too by being so stubborn and sticking around. Please go Neil, for the good of your reputation, your health and the good of the club!

Aye that's true about this being his last big job. He won't have any half decent or possibly any offers at all....for a long time..

He'll be wanting to be sacked rather than walk 100%..

Just get him out the door and get it done now..

Kris Commons & Andy Walker 100% correct in their views on those scenes at Celtic Park last night. DISGRACEFUL by a section of our fans. They do NOT represent me and the many supporter Clubs I'm involved in throughout the Island of Ireland. What Neil Lennon has gone through previous from his so called haters this was hard to take from so called Celtic fans.

    * congratulated Boris Johnson on winning the election. He needs to stop talking about Celtic ever again, that's what he needs.

Maybe just maybe the players that were (shaken) by last night events out side the ground will start to play like we pay them to and things will turn around.

If course.... we will never know, but I’d love to know what position we’d be in now if the Boli thing had never taken place. Between the negativity focused on the club, the missed games, dressing room fall-outs, player confidence etc etc... the cumulative effect must be measurable.

It wouldn’t mask NLs ineptitude if it hadn’t happened.... but would surely have us in far less turmoil. Looking back ... it does seem to have been the catalyst for so many issues.
