Is Gary Parker coming back with Lennon? I presume he is.

And I'm also very doubtful that Rodgers asked John Kennedy to go to Leicester?

He's coming in into totally different circumstances to the last time, We couldn't buy a win under Mowbray shocking defense , a squad de motivated and all over the shop wich he had to motivate and finish the season with a wee bit of credibility then gutted the squad.

Now he only needs to guide the ship of a winning machine and far stronger squad , while putting a wee bit of his own touch into things too.

Lenny wouldn't have been my choice, think he had his time and I'm hoping he's maybe ironing out the flaws he had, especially with the team getting too lackadaisical at times.

However I'm pretty sure the majority of us if asked who we'd love to see win the league as manager for 10, I'm pretty sure Lenny would be the one.

NEIL Lennon and John Kennedy addressed the media for the first time since taking charge of Celtic today, and the new Hoops boss stressed how important both his assistant and new first-team coach Damien Duff will be during his transition period.

The manager aims to embed himself as quickly as possible at Paradise, and described the top job as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that he’s been fortunate enough to have been considered for twice.

“It was a no-brainer,” said Neil Lennon of taking on the job for a second time. “I’m very grateful to be here, to the board, to Peter Lawwell, to Mr Desmond to all put faith in me to see out the season. It’s been a whirlwind 24 hours, and the most important thing is the club. I’ve got big shoes to fill, obviously, but I’m looking forward to the challenge.

“I’ll be leaning on John a lot. He knows the machinations of the current squad, and I’ll be relying on John and Damien, very much so. They’re going to be essential to the transition.”

Neil Lennon said he faces a new challenge in different circumstances from when he took over from Tony Mowbray in 2010, and that he knows how quickly he must adapt as the Hoops chase a third consecutive domestic treble.

Echoing his own words yesterday (Tuesday), and those of assistant John Kennedy, the manager said his appointment isn’t about individuals, but is solely about the club itself. As for his approach on the pitch, Neil Lennon is keen to implement attacking-minded football, consistent with both his and Celtic’s signature style.

“This is a club that means a * of a lot to me – as a player and as a manager,” Neil Lennon added. “It’s a privilege. These opportunities come around once in a lifetime, and for me it’s come up twice. I’ve mellowed as a manager a bit since I last took over, but I’ve still got the energy and the will to win.

“I have my own way, I’m always learning and that will go on. It’ll be good to watch great players train every day. I know the culture of the club, and I hope it won’t take too long to get back into the mix of things. I’ll keep the current style, and I don’t think it’s too different to what I do. Attacking football is the DNA of the club.”

Credit to the board they’ve handled the replacement extremely well. In and out. Lennon knows the score and is perfect to take us to the end of the season - depending on his results I might have him back but I’m hopeful for Stevie Clark, he’s different gravy.

He'll be desperate for the opportunity for it , Still football to be played , but 8 should be in the bag that would leave 2 more to go.
