Lol. Fans are fickle *. He was an absolute hero for us who stayed around under the sort of stress and intimidation that few managers in world football will ever have to contend with. He had his flaws but I love the man.

9 League Titles as player, captain, coach and manager.
    6 Scottish Cups
    2 League Cups.
    UEFA Cup Final.
    CL Last 16 three times.

I think he even coached the youths to a league title although I might be mistaken on that one.

    * legend, right up there with the best of them.

Theres an extra league in there as a coach was there not? He was a big part of that late winning run for 3 in a row under WGS

Very late mate but aye you are right.

Sure he came back in April of that year.

Was Tommy's year if I remember right.

We went on the winning run when he came in and WGS said he was a huge influence on the dressing room. It was Tommy's year.

Can't believe some people are having a go at him. Aye he wasn't perfect and I was quite happy when he left (it was time), but he's a great guy and a club legend.

I've met Lennon 3 or 4 times, when he was a player and then when he was the caretaker manager. Saw him last after his last game as Celtic manager (didn't know it then of course). He's always been a gentleman who went out his way to get pictures/autographs with the support.

Nothing short of a Celtic legend.

Wasn't a massive fan as a player because I thought Lambert did that job and more in that team.

What a job as manager though. Turned the club around. Unsurprisingly doing well with Bolton.

I never said he was a "failure" you are to busy focusing on that to read what I am actually saying. WE SHOULD HAVE WON MORE UNDER HIM, the team we had was miles ahead of the rest. We lost to st mirren, killie, hearts in important cup games, knocked out by morton is embarrassing.

He should've won at least two trebles in his time here.

I actually like Lennon, always liked the way he talked in the media and his passion when he first became manage and the first couple of seasons we were playing good football but it went down hill after that and you cant argue with that

Lennon is a good man and a good manager. His hands were tied most his time in the hot seat at celtic in terms of contracts, signings etc

do you know how hard it is to win a * treble here...even without that mob?

Very very difficult, all teams especially in the latter rounds play like *,its a one of cup tie and its difficult to win.....only a few managers have pulled it off,and even then we had a few minutes of maybe luck in that game..

lenny did his best and better with the team and funds he had...a good manager, could have been a great if given the help..glad hes away from scotland though,he deserves it and his family to live a peaceful life

So small teams raise there game so its okay if we lose?!?! Come on his teams was full of international players, some played in world cup, nearly half of the team has went on to the English Premier league. Our players should raise there game, there is no excuse to lose to them teams absolutely none

And the funds he had?!? He spent 10 million a year every season whilst the rest of the spl could only afford free players so again money is no excuse domestically.

Lenny is a great Celtic character but a decent manager, not a world beater

Must be gutted he left now.

Looks like Deila got the investment Lennon claimed he wasn't getting.
