He's maturing as a manager and becoming more experienced with every day that passes by. When you consider what he has achieved at Celtic to date, in the three seasons that he's been here, its extraordinary. We've broken all sorts of records already, even in Europe. His record, both domestically and in Europe, is sensational.

Interesting to hear Neily say that Dermot Desmond has sat him down and told him he needed to change his behaviour on the touchline.

Coming from the man who states we need Sevco in the SPL. Have a word with him Lenny.

He is more relaxed now than at any time over the last couple of seasons. This is probably a combination of maturing in the job and the pressure off with the title win. The players are helping as well.

Just wonder what the impact of Thommo leaving has been on him? He is clearly more at ease so that may have been affecting him also.

The Sky is the limit for him now. Certainly for the next few seasons and as long as the board support him things can only get better.

Neil Lennon is an absolute inspiration and credit to every aspect of Celtic Football Club both on a social level and a football level. His potential as a manager is unlimited and wherever that takes him, at our club or another, I give him 100% support and best wishes.

Gordon Strachan gets lauded for what he did with Celtic in Europe, rightly so, but I think in terms of away results and performances, Neil Lennon has already surpassed him. That performance tonight was every bit as brave and every bit as good as the performance we put in at the San Siro in the last 16.

Neily has also led us to an away win in the Group stage, something that Strachan never managed, as well as leading us to two away wins in the qualifying rounds.

What Neily needs to do now is re-create those stunning European nights at Parkhead where big scalps were taken. He's going to have two chances to do this when we face Barca and Spartak. I believe a win against Spartak might be enough to see us through, 8pts almost certainly will be enough. We can do this!

I think it's time to acknowledge just how much, and how quickly, Neil Lennon is growing and developing as a manager. Strachan had a decade of managerial experience under his belt when he led us into the groups stages of the Champions League. Neil Lennon only has 2.5 years of experience. I think it's pretty remarkable what he's doing and I hope so much that he can get us through to the last 16 and receive the acclaim he deserves.

There's only ONE Neil Lennon. :shamrock:

It's a dream come true having one of our own being the man to guide us in this great time. He's very intelligent, learning quickly and loves the club as much anyyone on this forum.

I just love the direction the club is going at the moment. From the board to the backroom team to the players and most of all to Lennon. These are great days with more better days to look forward to. Enjoy my fellow Fenians:shamrock:

I can't believe I once referred to this man as 'tactically inept'. I love you Neil. :shamrock: :icon_mrgreen:

He`s proving what a top class manager he has turned into. In every European game we have played, the tactics have been absolutely spot on

Neil Lennon, the man with just shy of 3 years managerial experience, just masterminded a tactical performance which very nearly lead to us taking a point from the Nou Camp. I can't remember ever seeing such a well organised Celtic team, and it's truly remarkable to look at how solid our defence is compared to even the start of the season. Here's to many more glorious European nights under St Neil. :notworthy

I think the change has worked in his favour.

A few minutes of venting during the match - even when you are in the right - puts pressure on you for the rest of the week. And the Celtic manager's job is more than emotionally taxing enough without that.

DD knows the importance of long-term stress management - reckon he did Neil a service with that sit-down. :50:

I reckon he sat him down and twiddled his moustache, then told Lennon that he would have to twiddle his genital moustache if Lennon was a bad boy anymore...............

Neil Lennon is well and truly a Celtic legend. Engraved his legacy into our history for ever. And to think this man will probably stay at Celtic for years to come, regardless of how high in demand he may become.
