Early days yet. But Neil is building a fantastic young team, it's amazing how far we've come in 2 years. 2 years ago we were humped 4-0 by Uterecht away from home, now we're going to Moscow and winning in the Champions League.

The only way is up! :50:

It's amazing how far we've come in 2 years. There's been ups and downs but it wouldn't be fun otherwise.

He really is building something special. Long may it continue. :50:

He needs to be more refined as a manager I think...but that all comes with experience so right now hes doing brilliant.

I think most people who wanted him to get the job had hopes that he could build a legacy last night was probably the moment that dream became a possibility I think it will all depend on how we do in this group now. He needs to get the players grounded again and force the fact into them that there are still 4 games left and every team has everything to play for if he does that and gets us European football after Christmas then I think he has earned the right to be on a lengthy contract

Celtic will never have a manager with the career longevity of Ferguson, the pressure to win every game as Celtic boss far exceeds even that of Man United.

Best case scenario is he leaves with numerous titles and cups and a legacy of producing then selling talent harvested from our youth system.

I disagree, I think the way he's going he could well be here for as long as Ferguson if he wants to be. With no huns to compete with now, the domestic honours should flow, and there's not as much pressure at a European level. Fact is if you've got what it takes then it's up to you how long you stay at Celtic I think. I remember Martin once saying that he would only ever leave Celtic if he was sacked. Obviously there was a tragic change in circumstance there, but he did say not that long ago that were it not for Geraldine's illness he would still be our manager. Lenny's already shown that he's not one to quit easily; if he can handle the pressure of attacks and death threats then he can handle the demand from the Celtic support. The only question then is does he have what it takes to carry on winning and delivering trophies and runs in Europe? If he can carry on learning and developing then the answer is certainly yes.

I'd be happy enough if he was our Gordon Strachan getting us to the last 16.

I certainly hope that Lennon wants to stay for a long long time as our manager. He has shown in his 3 short years termendous improvment and has built a good team which can play some attractive football and just like the manager the team is clearly learning and improving step by step.
He seems to have good man management skills as well and clearly loves the club like any of us do. We still have to remember as well how young Lennon is from a management perspective so you would think if he wants to he could be at Celtic for a long time yet.

He has what it takes and I hope he does stick around for many years.

It will be tough for him to continue to produce for years but I have faith in Lenny to keep going!

Neil Lennon is 3 bad results away from being wanted out by a large section of fans, make no mistake about it. In fact, if he loses the rest of our European matches even our Chanpions League campaign would be deemed a failure.

We must keep a semblance of sanity despite the numerous positives surrounding the club just now.
