He really has done an absolutely incredible job, considering the complete mess of a team he inherited. Aswell as all the * he has had to put up with. Making it through the next round of qualifying is what it's all about though, we can go into it with confidence though.

Great stuff - his biggest test of this year and he has passed in both legs.

Football may not have be the greatest and the result not as humongous as some expected, but a terrific two-legs all the same.

Keep it up Lenny - get the players in for champs league.....after we qualify of course :86:

It's all coming together slowly but surely.

The most sane amongst us knew what this group of players was all about, tonight was a little taste.

A couple of new faces and this team could go places.

    still can't stop smiling. :celt_2:

He's made some mistakes before and has no doubt annoyed all of us at least once, but you can't deny Lenny played a blinder tonight :50:

Got everything perfect, even the little mind game with telling us Forrest was out then slyly sticking him on the pitch! HJK werent expecting that * Lenny Bhoy! :icon_mrgreen::celt_2:

Neily did his job as well as any of the players on the pitch did theirs. He got the shape of the team spot on.

The only slight irritation I have with Neily at the moment is he seems to be increasingly adopting the Gordon Strachan tactic of playing a right footed player on the left wing and left footed player on the right wing. I hate that! It used to drive me mental when Strachan did it so I hope it's not going to be something that Neily does all the time.

Anyway, I'll worry about that later. Great job tonight!

My only criticisms of Lenny are playing Brown ahead of better players just because he's the captain and waiting too long to make substitutions.

Also, did anyone else notice a new face on the bench tonight. Thommo replacement possibly ?

One clinical attacking player. I really don't think a lot of people realise how good Kayal and Wanyama are (and add in a Brown or a Ledley) and they can match up to anyone. Just need someone with that bit of extra magic.

Brown is a key part of this team, he showed it tonight, bar his miss he was excellent. He missed the Aberdeen game and we were incredibly flat. He isn't as good technically as the others, but he is still an integral part of this team

You are so wrong about Broony tonight Slaw.

    He was * immense.

That miss was shocking for sure but it was the only mistake he made all night.

Dropping Kayal for Brown is simply madness.

Kayal wouldn't have lasted on that surface.

I love broony! He even told mathews to cam down lol get them snapped broony!! and since its a lennon thread, he really is building a team for the future. Remember the age of this team, 4 years together with european experience, no new huns will touch us in the league, even with over spending

i believe we are a better side with brown in it, he was excellent tonight. he adds so much to our side and he would be one of the first on my team sheet every week!

Immense? Give me peace mate! I can understand that you thought he was good or whatever but he certainly was not immense by any stretch of the imagination. His passing was off, he missed a sitter and he let that pass go through his legs in the middle of the park (what's that all about :97:)

It would be if Kayal was fully fit, and we weren't playing on that artificial surface. It was a very good move by Lenny imo

This post sums up what a lot of Celtic supporters problem is, when Broony did the dummy that didn't come off but also didn't put us in danger, I knew that would stand out more than the fact he drove up and down the park tonight more than anyone. Fair enough he should've buried his chance but the rest of the game he was excellent, his burst up the field with a few minutes to go, holding the ball up and buying us time was a perfect example of his energy and performance tonight.

Kayal should always start before Brown...some games suit Brown but more often than not his passing is awful...his ball control is awful..he adds aggression which is important for some games but comparing Kayal to Brown is like comparing a racing horse to a donkey
