Not a case of thinking we're too good for him, here's what he (McNally) said....

“Celtic Football Club and Norwich City get on marvellously well. We had a great day here last week celebrating Adam Drury’s testimonial so the two sets of supporters get on brilliantly. I can confirm that no approach has been made for Neil Lennon.
“If we were interested in talking to them about Neil, because he’s a great manager, we’d go straight to them quietly and privately. We wouldn’t announce it through the media.”

He went on to say we would not be making an approach. He's a bit busy today! - Grant Holt has tweeted it wants to leave the club, Villa expected to discuss compensation with us regarding Lambert and a new manager required

Would have to be King of Kings, Henrik Larsson.

    I'm not picky.
I don't believe Lennon would leave.

He's been manager since March 2010 and since then he's been steadily building the team and stamping his mark on building up a decent team at that. Got all the potential to dominate Scottish football and (hopefully) have a good hit at getting into the Champions League. He's not given into the pressure's of doing the job, even when receiving death threats last year. In fact it seems to have made him more determined to win.

He's got all of that and more and he would give that up to go to manage a team to just try and keep them in the EPL?

    I don't see that happening.

I find it pretty funny that Lenny is 3rd favourite to be the next Norwich manager at 6/1. I'm almost 100% sure that Neil won't be going anywhere. He's put to much into Celtic working towards the champions league to just walk away from it now.

That's what you think? Or what you take from the statement made by Norwich?

    Cheeky :bbpd:

Basically I think Norwich have tested the water with Lennon and were told to * off ,hence there statement saying they won't be approaching Celtic.

His record of 116 games, 88 wins 12 draws and 16 losses means hes got the best win % as manager of Celtic.

75.86% wins, just beats Martin O'Neills 'record' of 75.53% wins

Lenny deserves a great deal of praise for tonight, thought he got the tactics and the starting line up spot on and made the right subs as well. Well done Lenny!
