I've been on some Norwich forums recently.

I'm quite pleased at the story. Shows our managers growing reputation, though it is in the sun so it may well be bullshit. Love the fact that the English sun says "Lennon is looking forward to a Champions League campaign next season but would consider a move to Norfolk." Obviously bullshit, like he'd consider moving anywhere, never mind a mid table Premiership club over taking his heroes into the Champions League. Completely made up statement based on the assumption that any English position is automatically better than any Scottish position. The Scottish sun, on the other hand, went with "But Celtic will not entertain any approach while the fans will also be desperate for him to stay." Story is instantly dispelled. No chance. How I hate English arrogance...

Why do Celtic supporters insist on reading that rag? It's full of made up stories and pro-Hun bullshit. Avoid it at all costs. I haven't bought a copy of that comic since 2002 and I will never buy another.

Why though? What more has Brendan Rodgers and Roberto Martinez done than Lennon.

 

Nothing much I suppose, more years in the managerial game and under the eyes of the English with some decent accomplishments considering the teams they managed. Lenny hasn't got much experience tbh and is still kind of unproven. And I suppose games like Hearts semi, Killie final, Ross County etc might still raise an eyebrow or two and not for good reason.

 

Yeah true. Personally dont think any of the three are who Liverpool should be getting but I was just meaning more along the lines of them looking for a young British manager, then Lenny has to be termed the best young British manager as he has a 75% win rate in two seasons.
