Shook hands with Sergio then sprinted 50-60 yards onto the park and started going mental right in the referee's face, finger pointing, swearing etc, the ref backed off and Lennon continued to approach him and shout abuse.

How can I think otherwise, because he is the manager of Celtic Football Club. Would Jock Stein, Martin O'Neill behave like this? Absolutely not. Being the Celtic manager comes with the responsibility of knowing how to act and behave properly and Neil Lennon didn't do that today.

So let the ref away scot free is what your saying?

Refs should be banned for a few weeks and Manager should be able to say what ever the * they want when they make * ups like that.

The ref * up a decision which sent us out the cup. Lenny had every right to go up to him and tell him what he thought.

There is making a composed and articulate point regarding a particular decision and there is just screaming abuse at a guy. Lennon has the right to agree or disagree with any decision just like everyone else. Lennon, nor anyone else, has the right to scream and swear at a guy doing his job.

I am a fan of Lennon in general but he needs to cut this nonsense out. It is a disgrace

This is a team in transition for me, we have won the league this season. Next season we need to step it on further. What we really need now is to add quality and experience in the summer. We don't have that at the moment, you can tell we are a young team. Scott Brown, Kris Commons and Samaras were our oldest most experienced players today at the average age of 27.

That isn't something that we can let happen, younger players heads go down and there is less of an edge about them. It breeds inconsitance, when they are on form it is amazing but now we need a good solid, experienced centre back and a good solid experienced striker.

After that we need a backup for James Forrest, I like Commons but he isn't a player who will beat a man and he isn't very pacy.

Saying that Dylan McGeough came on today and really impressed me, without doubt he must start the next match if he is out. Failing that it needs to be Paddy McCourt.

Neil Lennon has put together a good, young team. We need to build on that and add in the older, more experienced heads or days like today, the cup final against Kilmarnock and Inverness Caley Thistle last season will keep happening.

Any idiot saying Lenny was wrong today can shut their face ! Too many glory hunting band wagon jumpers in our support who can't wait to moan, * off and support man utd ! People are missing the main issue here, We can accept getting beat fair and square but when you are cheated by a * hun of a referee you can't help take your anger out, this norris guy, just because he wears a sfa shirt and has a whistle does'nt mean he's not as much of a bitter hun * as any other hun out there, thats what we were dealing with today and he never tried to hide it at all, could'nt point to the spot fast enough.

Would the people moaning about Lennon mouthing off at the end rather he just stood there on the touchline for the entire 90 minutes, showing no emotion and essentially being nothing more than a robot?

It is not within his nature and nothing anyone says or does will be able to change that. He is passionate, fiery and above all, he cares about Celtic. He doesn't react the way he does because he strongly fancies the idea of a six match ban, but because he, like many on here and on other forums, feel like we are being cheated time and time again.

The officials in this country are shocking and just make up rules as they go along, whilst repeatedly getting the big calls wrong.

They should be the ones being banned, not Lennon. He does his job right (three cup finals in two seasons, decent European run, unbeaten domestic run, a league title and a Scottish Cup back that up) and they don't do theirs right.

Just because he's a foreign manager who doesnt give a * about celtic doesnt mean * all with regards to managing ability.

Anyway we shouldnt even be discussing this, Neil Lennon is our manager and will be for some time.

Lenny was quite right to act like that because the decision was a disgrace and Martin O'Neill acted like that on a few occasions when decisions went against us.

There is a big difference between demanding someone acts like a robot and condemning a supposed professional manager for running the length of a pitch to scream and swear in a fellow professionals face.

If someone did it to me in my place of work I wouldnt accept it, and Im guessing noone on here would either. It isnt a case of being a robot, it is a case of showing a level of professionalism

One thing all these Lennon bashers should realise...This man has given up his safety, his familys safety, his right as a human being to walk the streets without the aid of a 6ft * 9 security guard at his back to manage this club, to bring success to each and every one of you all on here...and if he wants to go nuts at a ref for * us over in an important game then thats fine by me..ONE NEIL LENNON..CELTIC TO THE CORE!!!

it was another shocker of a game, from everyone involved. ref was *, but we should be beating hearts no bother. tactics were bollocks, when has a diamond 442 ever worked for us?

id really like to see lennon control himself more. its not the refs fault that we are out, its his and his players.

All of the great managers in our history have been from either Scotland, Ireland, or Northern Ireland. Stein, Maley, O'Neill and Strachan (statistically, he is one of the best) being the main ones. There's a reason for this. They actually care about the club and that emanates from the manager himself to his players and in return, they do the business on the pitch for him.

I agree with the emboldened part though. Lennon will be here for a long time, unless he decides he wants to call it quits himself.

I still support Lennon and I usually always try making excuses for him when he acts out after losing, but I'm seriously starting to get sick of his behavior when we lose games, he needs to learn to accept losing, the referee didn't beat us today, Hearts did.

That video is not a video of O'Neill behaving like Lennon did today, I could understand if he was fuming in the post match interview but not his behaviour today, he was out of order.
