Can't disagree with any of that but that does mean you weren't expecting us to win the treble, you wanted us to. We are capable of it as well but its the expectations that Neil hasn't lived up to that I'm trying to get at here, as there has been a lot of venom in this thread the last few weeks, as far as I can see.

Celtic should be able to play everyteam in scotland and beat them 10 times out 10. Can you tell me another period in history when this was the case?

When Rangers finished 3rd, when we were getting our record point tallies, when we were so far infront of everone else that we were winning the league with 7 games to go etc?

Just because the Huns weren't dead doesn't mean there have been many times in our history they've been completely * gash.

Even the Lions only done it once, as the best team in Europe. It's a big achievement for a reason.

Regardless of what anyone says on here, if we win the Double on top of that marvellous run in Europe, this will be looked upon as one of our most successful seasons in our modern day history.

You can bleat on all you like about there being no competition, but the record books will hopefully show us reaching the last 16 of the CL, and winning the league title and Scottish Cup, when all is said and done.

I await the first headline drawing Lennon into the managerial merry-go-round down South. Anyone want to have a guess at how long it takes?

I'm going for 'Kenwright wants Lennon' at the weekend if not before.

Even when rangers were gash, they still could beat us even if both teams played well, we never went in to any season expecting to win every old firm game. Even when hearts finished 2d, if they hadn't sacked burley they might have won the league. This is the first time in history that I know of that we can go in to next season and say we've 100% won the league before a ball is kicked, there is absolutely no challenge and not winning the treble may be seen as a failure. I think this season had been good, but I understand people who are disappointed we didn't get the treble.

Saw on a everton forum today that Lennon is linked with them. But many comments sounded like this - "The day that C*unt Lennon takes over Everton, thats the day i quit going to games" (Not my words, before you start to flame me :50: )

I've already seen it on twitter.

"Sources at celtic park expect an approach from Everton for manager Neil Lennon". It was on that * celtic underground so obviously it's bullshit, but it will be plastered all over the papers. An incredibly obvious rumour.

Basically, if Lennon's job had been so easy this season, he would not be attracting this much interest down south.

Norwich were rumoured to be looking at him last summer and his name is being brought up again for the Everton job, if Moyes does indeed leave for Manchester United.

These are the types of sources the tabloids use, can guarantee it will be in the papers by Friday then.

I hope we win the Cup now and Lennon goes to Everton.

Then we will get a new manager.

No matter how many times I read it on here I still can't get my head round it.

League title, possible double and the last 16 of the CL on a shoestring budget and people want the manager gone.

    Madness, utter madness.

Likewise, even when everyone bar Rangers is gash we don't expect a 100% season.

This season isn't the first season we've been far better than all other competition.
