If Lenny is sent to the stands for the final then it's an absolute joke. The hour before kick off and the 15 minutes after rule is pathetic.

He was * today again. Kayal for ambrose 89th minute? What a joke. Everyone could see that change needed to be made apart from lennon.

The tactics were poor today, I think Lennon is too prone to wanting to give players a game that he just makes up formations and tactics to fit players in. Rather than pick a style of play to play the opposition and then put the players in place.

Its like he picks players he wants to play and then shuffles them into and sort of style with players played anywhere.

I'm getting a bit disgruntled with the way he is using Dylan McGeouch. I was glad to see McGeouch in the starting line-up today but yet again he was played in a position that does not come naturally to him. If you're going to put the kid in the team then at least play him in his natural position!

I feel we are stifling the bhoy's development at the moment when we should be doing everything in our power to nurture and develop him as a player. He showed in the youth team what an exciting talent he could potentially be.

I think he did actually play him in the centre today but he couldnt play there right as Commons who was meant to be on the right didnt track back at all which meant McGeouch was left having to go out there a lot and cover his *.

Think the set up was meant to be

    Zaluska
    Lustig Wilson Gershon Izaguirre
    Ambrose
    Commons McGeouch Ledley Watt
    Stokes

    But it looked more like

    Zaluska
    Lustig Wilson Gershon Izaguirre
    Ambrose
    McGeouch------ Ledley Watt
    Commons------------
    Stokes

Everything he is doing at the moment, is baffling me. Not in a good way, either.

How he let ambrose stay on for that long is beyond me, im not overly confidant about this cup final next week.

I think Lenny was trying Ambrose in midfield to see how he would get along with Ledley seeing as Brown ?, Kayal and Wanyama will be missing from the Cup Final. It didn't work out, Ambrose is a menace wherever he is played, he has turned out to be a bad signing.

I think it will be Mulgrew in there for the Cup Final as Rogic is too raw yet I feel to be flung into an important Cup Final. I am not despondent about the Cup Final, though it will be hard with those key midfield players missing. If he perseveres with Watt and Stokes upfront, Gershon, and Zaluska in goal and McGeough as the playmaker we have a chance, but I am not convinced on Izzyguire and Wilson at the back, they look like weak points to me.

Ambrose is right up there with Lennon's worst signings.

    Juarez probably * contributed more.

Agree totally. In the NextGen he was played as a 'Number 10' and looked excellent.
Even when he's played in the central areas in the first team, he's not high enough up the pitch to play his natural game.

And playing him as a right wing-back is so bizarre.
It's common on the continent for young players to play in different positions in the youth teams. But that all stops when you get to the first team, and you're given the chance to show what you can do in your best position.
We're wasting opportunities to give McGeouch that chance.

    Agree

Totally agree about the points regarding McGeouch's position/role today. He's being wasted in the first team so far, same goes for Rogic. If the idea was to give these guys first team experience then they should be playing in their best positions, with other players picked around that. I hate how he is playing Rogic far deeper than where he should be, which is right behind the strikers.

Ambrose is awful, just awful. Kayal should've started. Though the fact that he was on the bench with Efe doing sweet FA for 89 minutes is shocking. Watt should've been through the middle with Stokes, * know why he was on the wing.

Lennon is taking a big risk giving a lot of players holidays just now with our form going to *. I hope for his sake that we convincingly win the cup final or I can see many, many fans turning on him. If it was me, I'd have full strength XI's out from now on.

    I'm not picky.
I'm usually one of Lennon's biggest defenders but even I was baffled on why he let Ambrose stay on for so long. The guy was having a total nightmare and he should have been taken off about the 50th minute or so. I personally would have liked Lennon to put Kayal on from the start today alongside Ledley.

The only thing I can think about today was that he pretty much tried it out like a friendly match in playing different people in different positions. Other than that I have no idea why he did what he done.

Even though mourinho is a * he hit te nail on the head the other day 'when the team wins the players get credit, when the team loses i(the manager) get blamed' same * happens every club. lenny is the fall guy sadly but im sure he is well aware of that by now and will be water off a ducks back. As for his bullshit charge from the sfa yet another witch hunt to get him away from celtic he shud take pride in the fact they are so afraid of him winning things and doing well in europe they will try their best to oust him.
