Unfortunately this does undoubtedly casts a bad light on our game, but let's not tar all Scottish fans with the same brush.
A number of you have commented on the attack on Neil Lennon on Twitter via #bbcsportsound. It happened to coincide with a glut of goals in all three games. There was no way that one was getting way without mention. Deplorable scenes at Tynecastle.
2059: Okay... that was frantic... Now I have a chance to tell you that after Celtic scored their second, someone jumped out of the Hearts near the away dugout, and ran to attack Celtic boss Neil Lennon. The person was quickly dragged away by police. Lennon, understandably looked a little shaken. Thankfully he looked unhurt. Disgusting behaviour. Unfortunately, no doubt THAT is the incident which will overshadow any football played tonight. -

Where was his protection anyway?? When Celtic brought a team over to play finn harps here a few months ago for john kennedys benefit match there was a good few gards around the dugout and a fence was put up around the dugout to keep mjallby & co safe!!!

2138: Following the unsavoury incident at Tynecastle, the Scottish FA chief executive Stewart Reganhas released the following statement: "Clearly this kind of behaviour from supporters is wholly unacceptable. The safety of players, club officials and match officials is paramount on or around the field of play, and this clear breach of security is a matter I will be discussing with SPL chief executive Neil Doncaster tomorrow."
